Verified Reviewer |Concern Regarding Client Data Handling, Misrepresentation, and Unethical Business Practices
Avoid this company at all costs. They are highly unethical.
After I submitted a confidential business funding/MCA application for a client through a separate lending network, my client was contacted directly by [PERSON_NAME] of Palace Capital Group. According to my client, [PERSON_NAME] represented that he was connected to that funding network and specifically stated that he had taken over another representatives position there.
The transaction was later funded through Palace Capital Group.
When I contacted the original funding network, I was told they do not work with anyone named [PERSON_NAME]. Palace Capital Group later claimed it received the clients information through a third-party lead vendor, but did not clearly identify the vendor, when the information was purchased, what information was included, or what authorization existed for the clients business and financial information to be sold or transferred.
I am also concerned that the representatives email signature appears to have used a headshot that does not seem authentic to the representative and appears to be associated with a television/entertainment image.
That raises additional concerns regarding identity, transparency, and credibility.
My primary concern is the unclear source and handling of confidential client financial information, the alleged representation of an affiliation with another funding network, and the lack of transparency regarding broker commission on a funded transaction. In my opinion, this reflects very concerning and unethical business practices.
I would caution brokers and business owners to ask detailed questions about representative identity, file handling, lead source, data authorization, and commission expectations before moving forward with Palace Capital Group.
- Unresolved explanation of lead source and data authorization
- No transparency regarding broker commission
- Unclear handling of confidential client information
Preferred solution: Explanation, accountability, and commission clarity.
User's recommendation: Avoid at all cost!

Before I respond to these complaints, I want to make it clear that [PERSON_NAME] is not a customer we have ever done business with. He is a competitor in the same industry who is upset that he lost this deal because we came back with the better offer.
We also have no partnership, affiliate, referral, or contractual relationship with him or his company. Prior to his public reviews and complaints, we had no prior dealings or direct relationship with him. Both Palace Capital Group and [PERSON_NAME] operate in the commercial financing brokerage industry. We are brokers, not direct lenders.
Business Lending Blueprint is also a brokerage operation, not a direct lender. In this industry, once a file is submitted into lender and broker networks, it can circulate through multiple parties, including lenders, brokers, ISOs, lead vendors, and marketing channels. Palace Capital Group obtained the merchant information through a legitimate third-party lead source and not through unauthorized access to any systems, accounts, or files. The representative referenced in this complaint clearly identified Palace Capital Group through the company email address, company website, branding, and email signature.
The screenshots posted in this complaint themselves clearly show Palace Capital Group’s logo, website, and information. After internal review, we found no evidence that our representative claimed to work for Business Lending Blueprint. If there was any misunderstanding regarding industry relationships or networks, it was not intended to misrepresent any affiliation. Google reviews, BBB complaints, and public complaint platforms are intended to reflect actual customer experiences with a business.
As competitors operating within the same industry, there is naturally bias involved when one party loses a transaction to another. [PERSON_NAME] was not the merchant/customer involved in the funded transaction. The merchant independently chose to proceed with funding through Palace Capital Group after reviewing available options. In this industry there is competition on almost every deal.
Sometimes you win deals and sometimes you lose them. However, after losing this transaction, [PERSON_NAME] proceeded to post complaints and negative reviews across multiple platforms regarding the same matter, including multiple 1-star Google reviews related to this dispute. What is most concerning is that despite the serious nature of these accusations, not once did [PERSON_NAME] ever reach out to me privately to discuss the matter directly before posting public complaints and reviews across the internet. We had already publicly responded and explained where the lead originated from before additional complaints and reviews continued to be posted.
To me, this strongly suggests that he understands no unauthorized conduct occurred and that the intent here is not to seek clarification, but rather to publicly damage and [PERSON_NAME] our company’s reputation because he lost out on a competitive transaction. This is not a complaint from a customer regarding services rendered by Palace Capital Group.
This is a dispute between two competitors within the same industry regarding a lost transaction. Palace Capital Group rejects any allegations suggesting unauthorized access, misconduct, or improper handling of confidential information, and we remain willing to discuss the matter professionally and privately.
