Better than expected
- - Mens gnome footie pajama set, size 8; order correct and undamaged.
- - Arrived early tracking easy, size matched, warm and comfortable after washing.
I ordered a mens gnome footie pajama set in size 8. The order was correct and undamaged, the cost was as expected and extremely cheap, the pajamas came sooner than the promised date, the tracking was easy to follow, the size matched the websites sizing chart and fit perfectly, the pajamas were soft, warm and comfortable, even after washing.
I purchased this as a last minute Valentine's gift and was uncertain that I would receive it on time, but since it came early, I was extremely happy. The negative reviews almost steered me away, but I'm glad I gave Pajamacity a try.
- Product and delivery time
Pajamacity - Pajamas Review from Colleyville, Texas
- - A computer error charged me for two sets of the same pajamas.
- - They refused return postage and deducted the initial postage from my refund.
An error by their computer caused me to receive - and be charged for - 2 sets of the same pajamas. despite the fact it was a computer error on their side, they refused to pay for return postage, which is not uncommon.
However, they also did not refund the full amount I paid in the first place, instead deducting the cost of the initial postage as well.
It's a relatively small thing, but it felt like insult added to injury when the fact was I was shipped a double order because of a mistake by their system. Thanks to their pettiness, they have likely lost a customer and I certainly wouldn't recommend them to a friend.
Company just doesn't respond to email - can't get a competent person on the phone.
- - Sizing terms like 'waist up to' and 'body length' are unclear.
- - Customer service inquiries via phone and email receive no timely help.
I wanted to buy footy pajamas with a "night cap" for a Christmas bonfire party my husband and I are going to. The sizing chart on the website is a bit unclear.
It will say for example....."Waist up to"...."Body Length"....."Total Body Length". If you choose your height size and then measure what you think waist up to, body length or total body length, it is not accurate. Not even close. So because I was unsure of whether I am measuring myself correctly based on this wording, I called customer service.
I asked the girl on the phone, "what does this mean, waist up to". She tells me that this means "around the waist". Well, I am 5'6" and according to their size chart, this means that my waist "all the way around size" is 45". This can't be accurate because my waist is 26".
So obviously this doesn't mean the size of your waist all the way around. SO....I sent an email asking the question and noting the conversation with the representative. No response other than the generic email that comes back that "we are very busy and will get back to you within a couple of days". No one ever did.
I sent another email. No response. I called numerous times today and am told to leave my number because they are on the phone. This alone make me weary of ordering from this company if I can't get a live person on the phone who can actually help me or anyone who will answer an email.
Very questionable customer service.
PajamaCity is a Welfare Excuse of a Company
- - Pajamas arrived too big with a fishy odor.
- - Zipper split, Velcro opened, and fabric felt thin; customer service was unhelpful.
About a week ago, I purchased a pair of pajamas from this company for my son. The design selections and the website was great, but the actual order was WAY different. The pajamas I got were WAY too big and had a smell of rotting fish. Although this made me pretty pissed for the high price I paid, I decided to wash them and go on with life.....which proved to be ANOTHER HUGE mistake. When I washed them, the zipper seperated from the bottom and the rear velcro seat opening visibily was becoming apart at the seams. Then I really recognized what I was getting: a *** thin piece of felt.
I called back for a refund and was on hold for about 15 minutes until an unhappy employee named Kara answered the phone. She was extremely short with me and very rude. After explaining my horrible experience, she still said that the best thing to do is purchase another item, BUT she STILL couldn't do anything for me.
Bottomline - STAY AWAY!!! Horrible customer service, a *** product that I wouldn't even dry my car with and some rude teeny-bopper named Kara that appears to be the only one that works in the ghetto on the return address.
I purchased from Jumping Jammers and was royally impressed. Their PJs are a lot thicker and their prints are better. Plus, the price was only 24 bucks compared to the robbery that *** Pajama City is running. It looks like there was a welfare ghetto owner on a broke budget trying to play business. Get REAL!!!!

I just wanted to answer your question about the sizing. The "waist upto" means that the size will fit upto that waist size.
For example let's use your measurement, you are 5'6 and will order that size which I think is a 5 in their charts and that is it.
Don't worry about your waist unless you are bigger of course that's when you worry. The onesie is designed so that you have room to sit and be comfortable which is why the waist is so big.
