We're in the same situation as others here, nothing but bad excuses and poor quality work. Our complaint has been submitted to the BBB and Missouri Attorney General.

Dan has successfully avoided their calls in the past so I don't expect much. Please avoid and if you have been taken advantage of by dan please file a complaint with BBB and MO Attorney General.

A few of the excuses dan used: two employees called in sick with the flu, wife is in the hospital with colitis, got ran off the road on the way to our house, got stuck in a ditch. He also brought his young grandchildren with for our initial estimate and kept telling how honest he was, he lied to us in front of his grandchildren.

Dan Patrick portrays himself as a honest caring guy who took advantage of my mother. He stated he needed a down payment to secure time for him to perform work because he was so busy.

Then stated he needed money to buy supplies. We gave him payments $2,500 and a second payment of $3,000. He did some drywall work and ran a gas line both which were horrible. He knows my mother had very little money and can't use the part of her house that remains in disrepair.

Dan is a cheat and preys on older people that can't defend themselves.

We now have to hire a lawyer to try to get our mothers money return so that we can hire a reputable contract to restore her home. Do not call him if you have already made the mistake we did, run and hide if Dan comes your way.

Our experience with this contactor has been terrible. What should have taken a week took two months and the workmanship is sloppy.

Always late when he showed up. Excuse after excuse. We had to send carpet installer home because he did not meet deadline. He had nerve to ask for pay even though he wasn't finished.

At first, dan showed up with two kids to do the job. The drywall was sloppy. They even drywalled over an access panel and two cold air returns. The panel was fixed, but he showed no concern for addressing the cold air returns.

The drywall is left with cracks and the tape showing. Trim that we talked multiple times about his tending to is left undone. Paint uneven. No attention to detail.

We were even very compassionate when he claimed to have a health problem, despite the delays it meant for us. He has taken complete advantage of us and not bothered to return our calls or even have someone contact us. Unprofessional and unethical.

Much of his work will have to be redone. We strongly advise against hiring this contractor.

I Hired Dan for some drywall work and paint. Horrible job.

Sloppy, started late and I am still fixing issues with his work a year later. I would steer clear of him. Made excuse after excuse. Blamed his workers for the sloppy work, never finished the job, and used cheap materials instead of the materials(drywall, paint, etc) that I was told he was going to use.

I pretty much have to do all the work over again.

Screws coming through drywall, cheap painting(which he said was his specialty), overall poor work. He even got pissed when I called him out on his work, and claimed his wife was sick...again, another excuse.

I hired Dan with Painters Plus to remodel a back room and a few other things around the house....awful work. I will have to go back redo the whole room.

Cracks in the drywal and ceiling, outlets are crooked and drywall will need to be replaced, nails coming through...I could of done this myself.

Craftmanship is poor, delays in getting the work started and excuse after excuse...he even used the excuse his wife was in the hospital to get out of fixing his work. DO NOT HIRE.

Company owner Admitted he under bid work to get the job then asked for more money three days into job citing a check bounced from another customer. Really Poor quality of work, left streaks, dripped paint on carpet, left walls partially unfinished in spots.

Was at the house a weeks and a half and only completed half. Workers threw lunch trash in my yard and took a lot of smoke breaks in my garage, which now smells. Walked off job site after 1/2 completion with the house a mess.

I've Called several times and left messages with no response. Very unprofessional.

Dan Patrick did some drywall and paint work on my ceiling. the job he did was very, very poor.

I am trying to correct what he did myself. He also slopped paint around the house and damaged some draperies with paint stains. He will not even partially reimburse me for my for the cost to replace them. He should not be recommended to anyone!

While taping and plastering the ceiling he left huge uneven spots on the ceiling . he tried to cover it up with an excess amount of sand finish which only made it worse.

crack repairs were done improperly and look bad he kept saying it would look good when dry. It did not!
