Inaction with Insurance Claim

I personally flew from Canada to the UK to transport and supervise the handover of my items to Pack & Send. Notice on my invoice that I was charged for TWO items to be shipped.

This was what was agreed upon. After I returned from the UK I took delivery of ONE crate. Pack & Send made the decision to ship everything in one crate. The improper mixing of very heavy and very fragile items WITHOUT proper restraints caused unnecessary damage.

I cannot get a resolution (or seemingly any progress) to my damage claim from four months ago.

I have asked to deal directly with their Insured.

If Pack & Send are a legitimate company interested in settling this matter it should not be taking this long. There should have been a claims adjuster assigned to this right away who could advise me on all the necessary paperwork required by them rather than me having to deal with Pack & Send staff who say they are doing something without any results.

User's recommendation: Clients need to know that their shipments are well insured until you have a claim.

used pack and send last year to mail a fine art painting to the USA from Edinburgh, Scotland. The art piece was incorrectly packed causing damage. I sought pack and sends agreement to make restitution. They agreed and approved an estimate to fix the damages. I proceeded to have it done. However after 6 months I am still waiting for the reimbursement to come in. This is the store on 53 Elm Row, Pack and Send Edinburgh East. I am owed $500+ for the damages.

User's recommendation: Their contracts are only worth the paper they are written on. Even though I have an agreement that they will reimburse for the damages caused (in writing), I have yet to see the money returned. They come up with excuses that they have a "banking problem" and that they would resolve it in days, but nothing is heard from them for weeks. So, customers please go with your eyes wide open. Especially if you are shipping things to foreign destinations. One has little recourse to correct anything. Pack and Send is basically robbing people.

Easily the worst company I have ever dealt with. Lost my package worth $1000+ Claiming driver has delivered even though I paid for signature on delivery. Building is 100% secure with cameras, no driver or delivery van/truck/boat/horse spotted in the past 72 hours. 2 days late get picked up in Sydney, sat in a warehouse for a week, been in Perth 4 days, still nothing... Buyer beware, don't use these idiots!!! DO NOT USE

Appalling customer service and no accountability. It appears that their strategy for responding to claims of damage is to wear the consumer down by consistently and persistently requesting repeated information. Over 30 contacts made and still no result from this unethical organisation.

ON 2nd JAN 2024 : TRACK THE ITEM

THE PICK UP DATE that I booked was on 27 DEC 2023

BUT they came and tried to pick it up on 21 DEC 2023 , the reason was because they were busy around that time so they picked whenever convenient for them .

THEN why would I book a pick up date ? if they want to come anytime they want ?

obviously the parcel was not ready and they could not picked up .

I had to cancel my PICK UP AND DELIVERY SERVICE because there was no other way to fix there own faulty work .

Also with very rude customer service .

she said will be refunded in a week .

- NO REFUND AFTER 2WEEKS and HALF _

ON 18 JANUARY : THEY DON'T KNOW WHERE MY PARCEL IS .

I HAVE CANCLED ON 2nd JAN .

now she is saying it has been picked up on 3rd JAN .

and she does not know where is the parcel .

YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME .

I have canceled on 2nd and now you are saying it has been picked up ? and told me to do what she told me to.

BTW SAME RUDE LADY WHOM WE FORGOT TO COMPLAINT LAST TIME.

STILL RUDE , NOW I HAVE TO WAIT FOR ANOTHER

7-9days to investigate where my parcel is .

Pack n Send East Perth WA

Pay Have tried to have a 9kg clothing pack forwarded to a Post Office 900metres away. Paid $160 including a large storage fee. Sent instructions with delivery name and contact details. P N S emailed back they could not lodge it at the post office. Will be using Aust Post next time and not being stuffed around by idiots. Have raised customer complaint. Next is Small Claims or Police complaint. these clothes are being stolen.

Missing parcels

Pack and send were employed to send 3 packages to my house (from Edinburgh to Kent the cost for this was £117 as yet I have not received them (10 days later) the sub contractor they employed said they did delivery them and fraudulently signed my name. Pack and send documentation shows no one had the "Authority to leave" yet by there own admission this is what happened. Pack and Send refuse to take culpability for the packages going astray and I am now £867 out of pocket. This post will remain here until this is resolved. So if your reading this post use at your own peril

A company worse than Aus Post

The pick up was not on schedule, it was 2 days later than schedule. The tracking code did not work after the collection. We asked the CS, and nothing was given back. The parcels took over 2 weeks from Australia to China, which is totally unacceptable slow. And now, after 3 weeks, suddenly got an email mention the parcel size is bigger than the input measurement, extra is charged. of course I am sure the measurement is correct. What I feel is, this company is totally not reliable and just do not use it !

Booked a pickup of a bag from Mascot airport Monday AM and was told it would be picked up Monday PM and delivered Tuesday. Quoted $100 from Mascot to Newcastle which is very expensive but paid it anyway. Called Tuesday PM and was told hadn't been picked up. Then I get a call back to say it is ready to go and can I provide card details. When advised I had paid I have to be put on hold, so they can speak with manager. Then another call back to say card has been charged $110 and will be 3 4 days. Told them to forget it and I would pick up. Then I get an email saying it had been sent and will be two days. I call back and tell them I had cancelled, but they say too late. Then they call again as written card number down wrong and won't go through. Then I click on Startrack link provided for tracking and it takes me to DHL!! Staff have poor English skills and hard to understand

Package was picked up from one location. Didn't hear anything for 2 weeks. Then returned. No phone calls, emails or explaination, just charged full fee. After many phone calls we've given up on ever seeing a refund. Would not recommend this company. They even suggested that we were lucky they didn't charge us a return fee. Ridiculous.

I had waited weeks for my parcel and finally rang the company I had ordered from, to find out what was happening. They told me it had been delivered 7 days ago and to go to Pack and Send to pick up. I spoke to the young fellow at the counter and explained I hadn't received a card. He told me I definitely HAD received a card and if he rang the driver, the driver would know the colour of my front door. (Interesting information) I said to the young man, I definitely have not, had a card put in my letterbox or on my front door. (I have been checking daily because it was a gift for my daughter). He just kept telling me, I Had received a card, because the driver would have left one. He was quite rude and I just got my parcel and left. I got in the car and thought about how rude he was, so I walked back the short distance to the office and said to the young man I thought the way he spoke to me was quite rude and there was no need to speak that way. He just kept telling me, actually screaming at me, that I DID get a card. He was so rude again I asked was he calling me a liar. At that he screamed "I am calling the Police." I hadn't raised my voice or been rude. The father then came over and he started going on I just said to him " Is this honestly how you treat your customers. It is very poor" I have just looked at reviews for Couriers Please, and they are extremely bad . MANY SAYING THEY WERE NOT LEFT A CARD hmmmm!! makes you wonder.

Poor handling of shipment

We regret so much arranging our personal effects to be shipped via Pack & Send Cairns branch to Manila, Philippines. I don't have words to explain how disappointed and shocked we are to see how poorly our belongings were handled and delivered to us. For work we've often moved internationally in the past few years, and this one by far has been handled the worst. Pack n Send in Cairns certainly is not capable of handling international packing and moves like such and the way our stuff was delivered was far below any acceptable standards. To start, our boxes were very poorly packed, stuff just thrown inside cartons, clothes were loosely packed, items have been received broken, boxes in tattered conditions, whole pallet had collapsed on one side damaging all items inside and more so lot of stuff was missing. Our pallet which they confirmed was re-palletised in transit which again they could not explain why though they were the ones coordinating the complete shipment. The response we got from them was so vague and ambiguous, that they are investigating but with no result or compensation even though we had insurance. They agreed ‘’goods were re-palletised in transit by another party that they engaged without taking any responsibilities of the damage and loss. They agree ‘’the boxes should have arrived on the same pallet that we had sent and are attempting to find out what happened’’ but to no avail, no concrete response received, no follow up from them. We fail to understand how could the stuff go missing, we opened the pallets in front of us, so the only possibility would be either it has been missed to be packed or stolen on the way. To top it all we were denied any insurance or compensation claiming we had no insurance when we were told very clearly that our goods will be sent insured. They clearly do not have experience for international shipment so should not take up jobs like such. We were so disappointed, moving houses is never easy and pack and send Cairns did make our experience tormenting. My recommendation, for small parcel deliveries within city they are ok, please stay away for international deliveries and moves. Very disappointing and frustrating experience, felt like thugged and cheated Gurpreet Gulati
