Verified ReviewerMy Rangemaster fridge freezer started over freezing in June 2024 just after warranty had expired. The Range master firm state that you must use Pacifica from Durham to do all repairs.
- - An engineer broke fridge panel and admitted fault.
- - I was charged for a replacement panel, wrong parts were sent, and reimbursement is pending.
I have e mailed them and telephoned , but they still owe me the money I paid for the bit the engineer broke.
When I tried to make another appointment I was told I had to pay for the replacement panel. Engineer arrived and the new panel was the wrong one. To cut a long story short after several visits again with wrong bits, I decided we could live with broken panel. This decision was made in March 2025!
I still have not been reimbursed for the bit I had to pay for which the engineer broke. I have tried chasing them up with no luck.
I wrote to top dogs in both firms and did not get a reply from either. I do not know what to do next.
- Unsatisfactory
Preferred solution: Full refund
User's recommendation: Do not buy a Range master product and certainly do not use the Pacifica engineers.
