My Rangemaster fridge freezer started over freezing in June 2024 just after warranty had expired. The Range master firm state that you must use Pacifica from Durham to do all repairs.

I have e mailed them and telephoned , but they still owe me the money I paid for the bit the engineer broke.

After several unsuccessful visits the engineer attempted to take a panel out of the back of the fridge and he broke it. He stated it was his fault.

When I tried to make another appointment I was told I had to pay for the replacement panel. Engineer arrived and the new panel was the wrong one. To cut a long story short after several visits again with wrong bits, I decided we could live with broken panel. This decision was made in March 2025!

I still have not been reimbursed for the bit I had to pay for which the engineer broke. I have tried chasing them up with no luck.

I wrote to top dogs in both firms and did not get a reply from either. I do not know what to do next.
