Lied to me about inventory and threatened to cancel order
Bought their Invacare homefill Compressor on Saturday Jan, 15th. Come Monday I asked them to send me a tracking number and they didnt respond.
Tuesday morning I get spam emails from them and a spam text message. I sent them an email complaining about receiving spam email before they have even shipped my product. They threatened to cancel the order. I asked them when they would ship the order out and they said that there was an ice storm where they were in Moneta Virginia.
I checked the weather and it said sunny. The next day the weather also said sunny so I asked them if they would be able to ship it now. They said Fed Ex was still not picking up because of the ice storm. I called the local FedEx which is 2 miles from their business and Fed Ex said that they never stopped picking up all week and that there was no ice storm, it was farther south.
I confronted oxygen plus concentrators about this and informed them that if they could not ship my order by the following Saturday that I would have to cancel the order because it is necessary medical equipment. They informed me that they didnt have anyone to repair the units and that they would not be able to send it by that time. They canceled the order without asking me if I wanted it canceled or not. I checked their website after this conversation and they had changed the availability date to February 18 for available shipment.
Did they expect me to wait a month after I bought it?? Their email said they take pride in shipping in one day. They lied to me the entire week and I had to pay for another unit to be rush ordered from a different company. They offered no apology for lying or explanation for the cancellation.
They delayed essential medical equipment a week until I proved all of their excuses to be lies.
Theyre preying on people with medical needs during a pandemic and lying to customers to make a buck off them knowing the medical situation. I told them it was for my mother who just got out of the hospital and is a self employed photographer with no insurance.
Preferred solution: Compensation for having to pay rush shipping through another company because they lied to me all week about their stock
