Absolutely terrible after sale service !!!!
We have always purchased Fords in the past and bought our last from Oxmoor ford. We paid over 50k for a top of the line Flex.
Anytime we have had to deal with this service dept. it has been a nightmare. Appoint of three weeks to get an oil change then they add on things you didn't ask for and try to charge more. But main complaint is we were to go out of town and waited three weeks for a console latch and 7:00 am appointment .
Was first in line it took almost 4 hours and my wife literally crying before it was done. This was her 70th birthday which was ruined because of this lying incompetent service dept.
User's recommendation: Absolutely without question stay away from this dealership! FIRE the SERVICE DEPT.
Disappointed
Bought a 2nd car from oxmoor ford and Lincoln, salesman noticed one tire was low and offered to air it up. Fine.
Got home and dicovered that one tire had a cut in it and another had a bubble on side.
I asked salesman before I left were the tires good, he replied yes. Need tires!!!!

Bought a 2017 Ford Edge and went over my purchase order and everything looked good but just noticed that the contract I signed was $11,000 more than what I agreed on.

I came into the oxmoor ford location on June 27th 2017 for an oil change for my 2016 Ford Taurus SEL. I had my oil changed and went on about my day until I later noticed that both bottom side skirt pieces of my car were messed up.
My rear passenger door wouldn't shut all the way. I went back up to the store and explained to them I was going on a ten day vacation and I needed my car. The service manager Jamy Tillman looked over my vehicle and made a promise to me that he was sorry for what had happened and when I returned from vacation that my car will be fixed. I came back from vacation contacted ford and they told me the parts haven't came in they would call me.
I waited a week no call so I called back. The parts were in but needed to be painted. Ok no biggie I can wait. Well I wait the time they said and I called back and they said everything was good to go.
I made an appointment to come in. I came into the store to only get asked if I was here for an oil change. No one knew why I was there because no one was notified. I left and came back the following Monday and they told me that I was a no call on my appointment.
I explained to them I was there and they later told me it was a misunderstanding and the wrong person was told about my car. Ok once again no biggie. They go to do the work and the parts are not painted. I had to reschedule again.
I was told a date that they would be ready. The date came no phone call. I called next day and the manager jamy tillman once again promised me that he was gonna have the parts in and get everything taken care of for me. Well here comes Friday again and no phone call.
I wait until Monday to call and he tells me. Sir I thought we already took care of this problem and everything was ok. Explained to him that my vehicle was still not fixed. He called to check to see if parts were there.
I made an appointment to come in Thursday morning. Had my brother bring car in to get all the things that the dealership did to my car to get fixed because I had work. My brother leaves and calls and tells me they fixed everything except the door. I called them and he went back and they fixed the door.
Later that day I see the car and the two side skirt pieces that they broke were still not fixed. By this time I'm livid. In one day it took me 3 30 minute drives out of my way to come get an issue fixed that happened 6-27-17 and it's now 8-17-17. I get there ask the manager to point out what they did and everything he pointed out they didn't fix.
He went on to tell me that's how my cars body is. He said well I guess we can pull it in and mess with it to see if we can fix it but we've basically done all we could .... By this point I'm beyond pissed. I explained to him why I was so mad and he said I don't understand I gave your brother and sister a ride to the mall (that's litterally not even a 2 min walk from ford) and picked them up.
Had gotten them (free) massages that they were doing inside the waiting room at ford. And he gave them movie tickets. I mean that was nice but no one asked for that. This is the third time in one day that I've been to this dealership for the same problem.
My car wasn't like this before I brought it to them and he claims it's fixed when the pieces still don't match up. I just wanted to share my experience with this ford to others so that maybe they won't have to deal with this hassle. They don't keep there words and are careless with our vehicles. Incident happened 6-27-17 and partially resolved 8-17-17.
I've tried to now contact the gm but he is out of office for meetings. Very disappointed in my experience with this and how I was promised something and didn't get fulfillment of the promise.
Worst Dealership Ever!!!!
This place is the WORST Ford dealership that I've ever been to in my life!!!! Bought a new 2016 Lincoln Navigator here last March & have regretted it ever since.
They try to sell you an Easy Care maintenance plan and extended warranty at purchase while they pass it off as a Ford/Linoln approved plan. BE WARNED!!!! It is not an official factory service plan or warranty!!!! It is a THIRD-PARTY service plan and warranty that begins THE MINUTE YOU SIGN THE CONTRACT and not after your included service plan/warranty runs out like the salesmen will try to tell you.
Oxmoor Ford sells these instead because the markup is around 100%, so they make more money off your purchase. Please read the fine print and take it home if you need to. DEMAND AN OFFICIAL FORD/LINCOLN APPROVED PLAN FOR MAINTENANCE OR EXTENDED WARRANTY!!!!! I was duped and purchased an Easy Care one even though my Lincoln included maintenance for 2yrs/24,000 miles.
Instead of utilizing the included factory maintenance, they were using my Easy Care the entire time. Now, after barely a year of ownership, I have only one covered Easy Care service left & my included maintenance has expired since I have over 25,000 miles on my Navigator. In addition, per the Lincoln included purchase offers, I've never once been offered a free rental or received a free car wash like it says. I have tried to call the dealership, left multiple messages, and even complained to Lincoln Headquarters about this place.
After all of this, I haven't received one return phone call as of yet. Do yourself a favor, stay far, far away from this place.
There are much more reputable dealers in town, such as Bill Collins Ford, who sell official Ford/Lincoln approved maintenance plans and extended warranties with your purchase. In addition, they will always offer a free rental car while they work on your vehicle & often wash your car for you whether it's a Lincoln or not.

Stereotypical dishonest car salesman & sales manager
Agreed to purchase used Ford Fusion at set price. Returned to dealer next day to sign paperwork, discovered unexpected frivolous charges added to final price(>$2K).
Sat waiting for sales manager to resolve for 3 hours. Left dealership in disgust. They employ 1960's style sales tactics. Several disappointing experiences with the service department over the past few years also.
I really like Ford products, especially in recent years, and would like to be loyal to domestic brands when purchasing my automobiles, but these guys make it awfully tough to do so.
Entire dealership is poorly managed and should be avoided at all costs. Buy your Ford products somewhere else if possible.
2014 Ford Fusion Car Review
I went into the dealership at hurstbourn lane to look at a car for myself i had a trade in that was very sentimental t me i found a ford focus 2014 on oyr test drive we ran out of gas that was for startes then the next day i drove it 8 hours and had it back to the shop because of a problem wth the transmission i was told there was a bad part with that certain car the salesman never told us those cars were having problems then told it would be 6 weeks to get the part i dont feel comfortable driving a NEW car with problems already after i day ownimg it i talk to a attorney and i want my purchase money back plus my trade in money the manger at that time acted like it was no big deal he much have been in a hurry to eat back to his food if i can get this problem fixed i want a different car or i wil go back to my attorney and call the BBB kathy trulock it was bought at the Hurstbourn Lane Store
Oxmoor ford unethical
we had a signed contract on a car to purchase and it was advertised on the internet. We wasted a whole day getting the vehicle inspected and applying for an auto loan.
The very next day when we went to pick up the vehicle the General Manager decided that someone had made a pricing error and decided to just back out of the deal but did offer to go ahead and sell us the car for $4000 more. What creeps I would never recommend them to anyone wanting a fair deal.They made the decision that because of their pricing department goof up to NOT honor the price that was advertised. So we wasted a whole day taken off from work and a credit hit as well. These guys have a google rating of 2.9 stars out of a possible 5 star.

Air conditioner not wrkn, said I needed a new heater contril valve, but they wud nd to flush my coolant. three days later car broke down because it over heated.
walked home called oxmoor & they said I wud have to pay to tow it in there for them to fix it. I said I just paid u $1200 and ur the one that flushed the coolant so u should tow it, fix it & giv me a loaner so I can get to wrk.
service advisor (punk m efr) said let me give u the tow number so u can get it towed in here. Tried reaching service mngr for ovr 2hrs no resPONSE, TRIED General Manager, no response, tried sales mngr no response....seriously, wtf.
A maybe buyer
All i wanted to do is check out the inventory,and there is no way you can view,who ever set up your web site I hope that for your sake that's not their only JOB because they are not good @ this one......Web site is not user friendly..Even in your complaint there is all kind of hem hauling around before you can submit it .Then you haft to write a SA on it because you need to submit 100 words or more,again I don't get it just would had like to had viewed what inventory was.. I can not believe that I even waste my time...........

17 Jan 2012: My family and I stopped by Oxmoor Ford Louisville Ky afterf a long day of looking at used cars for my daughter. We noticed a 2004 Honda Accord in the back of the lot and ask what they wanted for this car?
They told me they would take 6800 for car, I told them we only had 6000.00 cash and they agreed to take this amt without any persuasion. The salesman told us that the car was going to auction due to high mileage and body damage related to accident in 2007. It was dark and hard to see all of the damage. We knew that the high mileage was related to the car making it easier for us to make a decision.
They informed us that they had never checked vehicle out because it was going to auction. They refused to sell car that night not knowing if they were able to repair issue at a minimal cost.
The next afternoon car was repaired and we could come sign paperwork. We arrived at Oxmoor, I ask for the key to get a better look at engine in daylight?
Joe handed me a key broken so badly it was taped with package tape. I ask if there was another key and he told me No, you are purchasing car as is. We were taking into finance to sign papers while our salesman went to assist other customers. The finance had paperwork ready, I said "I'm upset about this key issue, that key will cost 300-400 to replace.
He said he coudn't assist me but went out to the Floor manager..the manager spoke these words very loud, "DID YOU TELL HER TO GET OUT AND HAVE A NICE DAY CAFE"? My daughter and I left.
I serve my country, I have raised my children to be well disciplined and respectful to all. I have always owned Fords, things can change quickly
