Hello, I am not really one to leave a horrible review, I thought I should come to you first. We do not have a lot of money, but we do have one rental home that we have decided to sell after our renters split up and left. We have always cleaned the carpets on our own but since we are selling we carefully decided to go with professionals. After looking for the right company in our area we saw the before and after photos on your website and chose OxiFRESH. Today we had our appointment with Mike and while he was a nice man, I am not sure what he did to the carpet? There is virtually no difference. We realize that our particular renters left the carpet in pretty bad condition, but we had high hopes that it would look like the pictures or at least better and smell better too. When Mike arrived he said that if we wanted the stains to come up that we should have called a steamer company but then went on to say why they were bad, so we decided to stay with OxiFRESH. I honestly thought he was not being very optimistic or humble or something? He explained that we would need to have all the spots treated individually at $40 per spot and that boosted our quote to $560, from the $336 we had been quoted. We had no idea about a per spot fee. My husband and I again, do not have a ton of money, things are tight, and this was already a luxury we had never done before, that was saving us time and going to turn out better than we could ever do, we thought. After we let Mike know we were not going to be able to clean each spot, his countenance changed. We explained that our prospective buyer was coming that night to see the house and we were not even sure he would want to leave the carpet, but we wanted it better than what it was. With that, he spent approximately 25 minutes pretreating the carpet with a sprayer and then agitating the carpet and he was out. My husband could not believe he was finished but did not argue because he is in the service business also. When I came home from picking up some supplies in the meantime, I thought that my husband had sent him away and told him not to finish. There was virtually no difference. I will say that the one room that had pets looked better. Why I am writing is that I called and they were willing to send someone else out but by then we had already shown it to the prospective buyer and he was not happy with it. We do not wish to have OxiFRESH back out. We are just asking for part of our money back for the job. We understand that he gave us time and that a service charge has to be charged and we do believe the upstairs bedroom is better and he left a small bottle of cleaner. For all that we are more than willing to pay. We are asking for a fair refund. We did pay with a check #1190, for $336. We feel like we should have been told by Mike, that he could not do the job and left our home if he knew he was not going to be able to make a difference, however this rental property is not worse, if not better than the before and after photos that sold us on OxiFRESH.
