Upset Customer

Hello, I am not really one to leave a horrible review, I thought I should come to you first. We do not have a lot of money, but we do have one rental home that we have decided to sell after our renters split up and left. We have always cleaned the carpets on our own but since we are selling we carefully decided to go with professionals. After looking for the right company in our area we saw the before and after photos on your website and chose OxiFRESH. Today we had our appointment with Mike and while he was a nice man, I am not sure what he did to the carpet? There is virtually no difference. We realize that our particular renters left the carpet in pretty bad condition, but we had high hopes that it would look like the pictures or at least better and smell better too. When Mike arrived he said that if we wanted the stains to come up that we should have called a steamer company but then went on to say why they were bad, so we decided to stay with OxiFRESH. I honestly thought he was not being very optimistic or humble or something? He explained that we would need to have all the spots treated individually at $40 per spot and that boosted our quote to $560, from the $336 we had been quoted. We had no idea about a per spot fee. My husband and I again, do not have a ton of money, things are tight, and this was already a luxury we had never done before, that was saving us time and going to turn out better than we could ever do, we thought. After we let Mike know we were not going to be able to clean each spot, his countenance changed. We explained that our prospective buyer was coming that night to see the house and we were not even sure he would want to leave the carpet, but we wanted it better than what it was. With that, he spent approximately 25 minutes pretreating the carpet with a sprayer and then agitating the carpet and he was out. My husband could not believe he was finished but did not argue because he is in the service business also. When I came home from picking up some supplies in the meantime, I thought that my husband had sent him away and told him not to finish. There was virtually no difference. I will say that the one room that had pets looked better. Why I am writing is that I called and they were willing to send someone else out but by then we had already shown it to the prospective buyer and he was not happy with it. We do not wish to have OxiFRESH back out. We are just asking for part of our money back for the job. We understand that he gave us time and that a service charge has to be charged and we do believe the upstairs bedroom is better and he left a small bottle of cleaner. For all that we are more than willing to pay. We are asking for a fair refund. We did pay with a check #1190, for $336. We feel like we should have been told by Mike, that he could not do the job and left our home if he knew he was not going to be able to make a difference, however this rental property is not worse, if not better than the before and after photos that sold us on OxiFRESH. Took my money & didn’t give service that’s I paid for

I paid my coupon for 87.39 when I call to book for my service they said shut down in toronto they in Calgary so I need my money back to my account asap

Snake Oil Salesman Warning

I had my carpets (supposedly) cleaned by Oxi Fresh System. They hook you in by claiming to be environmentally friendly because they use about 2 gallons of water as opposed to 40. They basically spray a spot remover and do a cursory vacuum with a brush attachment. Imagine spraying a little concentrate on your underwear and vacuuming them. Would you wear them ?? Of course not because they would still be filthy !!!! I rented a rug doctor that same day and took out all the dirt the so called tech said could not be taken out because it was (under the fabric) !! I had bucket after bucket of dirty water and cleaned the carpet myself. But they are clever at Oxi - Clean. The company takes NO RESPONSIBILITY for the work of their Franchise Techs!! They don't stand behind their product because they know it doesn't work. I had an appointment for re-do but the guy never showed. When I inquired why I was told to find another company to clean my carpets !! I wasted $500.00 on these snake oil salesmen ! Don't believe me, rent a rug doctor after Oxi Clean is done and see all they leave behind. You have been warned.

Fresh- OxiForget about service on Sat

I set up an appointment with Oxi Fresh one week before a large party at my home over Labor Day w/e. I assumed the company was closed the Saturday before the holiday. Their furniture cleaner was broken which they did not tell me until 10 min before my appointment. I opted to have my carpet cleaned and for them to return the next Sat s they said they were open. They reassured me 4x they would service me in that next Sat. They never showed up. I called and got a VM. I was called back by the young tech who was the most vocal that off course they were open Labor Day weekend and of course they would finish the job. He said the owner should have called me he was on his way out of town. The owner only contacted me to request a positive review. I NEVER got an apology. The company itself contacted me once I posted on their facebook page but all they offered was to have these same two men, whose word means nothing to come back on a Sat. Since that all happened I have noticed my Alexa is missing. something they were moving round. I am not sure they took it; it just happened in the same timeframe.

I have never heard back from Oxi Fresh. At the time I submitted this review I did not realize that Oxi Fresh had multiple locations in Richmond. My vendor I think comes from southside
