Huge price increase on medications

I am a cash pay customer, for my medications. One of my meds went up 25% since last month the other med doubled in price. I asked the Pharmacist why this huge price increase and he said he had know idea. Time for me to shop the internet for better pricing on my medications. So this (pissed customer app.) is telling me I have to write at least 100 words or I can't leave a review on this page, so if it sounds like I am rambling on it's because I am. The good thing that Owen's did for me on this situation is, they let me pay last months med price for this purchase only. Better than nothing, gives me time to find a better price for next month. Well I should be at 100 words by now.

R/X TARES not being submitted

I called medi-cal to find out why my TARE wasn't being approved only to find out that the TARE had never been sent. I have had to pay out ovber 200 dollars to Owens because TARES weren't being approved. I'm pissed!! I've had to payout of pocket now I want a full accounting of every R/X I put into Owens. They no longer have my trust. People could be dieing, I'm in the type of pain that makes me want to kill myself. Something needs to be done before anymore people have to suffer, or, God forbid, die die die.

They lie they give you wrong medical equipment and give you the run around they don't bill your ins and want you to pay for things they never got cleared buy Ins and want you to pay for it don't let these people do this to you.

Pharmacist Is rude and other words I cannot say here!

I went to go to Owens to get my mothers medication. Well they didn't have it ready which was fine since I had other things to do so I asked that they please get it ready and I would be back in an hour. so i come back an hour and a half later and the clerk was like its still not ready the pharmacist is on lunch. Not rude I was like you guys have a 15 minute guarantee its been over an hour. Well all of a sudden from in the back room the pharmacist rushes out and was like " ill stop my lunch just for you because you have a problem!" I was shocked like ...what in the world? Then she starts asking me " what im not allowed to have my lunch? Never have a seen such unproffesional behavior. She is rude and needs to get the boot. I dont care when that lady takes her *** lunch dont ask me.. She was a total witch with a b for no reason. I will never go there to have my mothers medications filled or mine or my kids for that matter. I also will make sure to spread the word to everyone I know to not use them either. I filed a formal complaint with her supervisor but I am sure nothing came of it!!

I went to Owens pharmacy for the first time because I heard how they make it easier for you. I moved all my sons RX's and mine to them on liberty st in Redding.

I asked if my sons Rx's were ready and was told by Bill the pharmacist that he was going to transfer my sons to court st because my insurance was a pain in the butt. that my worker was slow and did not do her job in a timely manner and there was to much paper work to fill out he didn't want to deal with. Then I asked about mine one due yesterday, some last week and one on 5/6 and asked if he could send it to me so it arrived on the 6th he said that he would send it on the 6th (when it was due) because it said as needed. and because I wanted it on the 6th he would not fill my RX because I had a problem and I would just want it earlier next month and more quantity every month there after.

I said I always get filled every month when it is due. he then told me I have a problem and he does not want to deal with my problems and would not fill my medication. My mother just died and I am taking care of my father that has MS. There is actual people that need the medication for actual problems.

Not everyone is a drug addict as he was saying. At that point I was shocked I was not asking for more or to have it filled early, he cancelled my RX out of his system. I called my doctors office and they were shocked as well. They sent my RX's back to Rite Aid.

I called Bill to tell him to cancel the rest of my prescriptions because I have never been treated to disdainfully in my life. He said OK with a lilt in his voice then said bye I said no I want your supervisors number he said ok same lilt and disdain gave me the number said bye I said can you send my RX's back to rite aid that were due last week. That now I am going to wait for because I don't want to deal with his condescending, superior attitude. I was told no.

call Rite aid. I have worked in the medical field for 20 years and would never treat a patient that way. Even if I thought they had a problem you don't treat people like they are gum on the bottom of your shoe. Bill was rude disdainful and did not represent Owens pharmacy in the light I think they would want.

I cancelled all my Rx's, my sons and I am going to cancel my dads as well. I would not send my worst enemy there. Let alone my loved ones.

He should be vary ashamed of the way he treats patients. The only thing I do have to say is I called his supervisor and she was apologetic.

The Company start by deciding what day Website will fill all The User's medications on, this will be called The Client's appointment date. There may be additional co-pays associated with the first month of synchronization. Website want to encourage a working relationship between The Client of Owens Pharmacy and The Client's Physician when it comes to refilling The Customer's controlled medications and as needed" medications. Some controlled medications also require a written prescription delivered by hand. Because of this, Owens Pharmacy do not synchronize those types of medications. Owens Pharmacy can put The Client's medications on any 30, 60 or 90 day cycle as long as The Customer's insurance pays for those larger supplies. Some insurances do not allow 60 and 90 day fills. Personally picking up The Customer's medications is not required. Owens Pharmacy would love to mail or deliver The Customer's medications to The User for free on the Owens MedSync program.
