Worst Service ever...
I ordered a Sony Experia Z3 and they made a mistake on my address so i had to call 5 times about the same issue and they never changed the address. I could not receive my package until they changed the address. Then finally an agent told me he would doit.so i decided to schedule a pick up and get the phone faster. when i got to the ups to pick up the package up they said they could not give me the package because it was under a different address. The guy never changed it. so called them back and tell them i was disappointed with their service and that i felt like canceling the order. The agent without any hesitation said he fine and cancelled the order, Even after i told him no I'm already here picking the package up all i need you to do is change the address.

Verified Reviewer New ReviewerCROOK ALERT
Ordered a Blackberry Bold fron Overseas electronics. Haven't used if for a year, since it was kept as a reserve phone. Now that I finally opened it, turned out the Blackberry was a used (stolen?) one. The cover was not original Blackberry, but had been replaced with a cheap Chinese plastic one. The IMEI number had been removed which makes me think this is stolen phone that has been patched with cheap e-bay casing. This is not only a poor merchant, this is a merchant that should be reported to the police. With over a year past since I bought the BB, there is really nothing I can do. Thankfully I paid with Google Wallet, so I never gave these crooks my credit card number!

Verified Reviewer New ReviewerCancelled my order then sent me the wrong phone!
I ordered my motorola defy xt535 from overseas electronics because I couldn't find a competitive price from another company (I think many companies must have been out of stock at the time). A couple days after ordering my phone, I got an email saying that my order was cancelled due to customer request. I immediately called the company asking why they would cancel my order when I clearly did not want it cancelled. The foreign guy told me that they were out of the white xt535's so that is why he cancelled the order. He said he still had the phone in black though if i would like the black one instead. I told him I didn't care what color it was as long as I could still get the same phone and get it as soon as possible instead of cancelling my order completely and trying to order it elsewhere. I was told that my phone would be sent out right away and they would put the order back through right away and I made sure that everything was in order before hanging up. I called back 3 days later to see how long it would be until I received my phone, since I had never received an email with an invoice or tracking number. I also checked my bank account and it showed that I was not charged for my purchase from Overseas Electronics. By this time I was already extremely pissed because I wanted to get my phone before my current phone contract expired (which didn't happen). I looked up their phone number and their hours of operation, which were posted online as having 9AM as their opening time. I called 5 times between 9 and 10 with no luck of having someone answer the phone. When I finally got someone to answer the phone after 10, the same foreign guy told me that he was unable to get my credit card to go through again and that he was going to call me that day to straighten things out. I was so irate when I heard this; I couldn't believe someone running a business would actually set something aside for 3 days before making a phone call!! I gave him my credit card number again so that he could get my order sent out (this was now the day before y contract expired, and I had placed my order a week prior). Once I finally received my phone 5 days later, it wasn't even the phone I ordered. They sent me a motorola motoluxe, which I didn't quite realize until I tried to put on the case I bought for my new xt535. I don't even trust the company well enough to return the phone they sent me and exchange it for the one I ordered. I am pissed though because I ended up with a phone that I didn't want; the phone I ordered has a water resistant feature, which I would have loved, but now I'm stuck with a similar motorola that does not have any of the features I was looking for in a phone. I would not recommend dealing with this company ever. They don't know what they are doing, and they were very short with me when I called and voiced that I was pissed off with their horrible lack of service. Not only are they just plain horrible at running their "business," they are not even accredited by the BBB.

Stay away from overseas electronics
terrible company, please stay away-- i never write bad reviews about businesses (as a matter of fact, this is the first one i am writing), but overseas electronics compelled me to create a city search account and write a negative review. their website is welectronics dot com... this is a company of crooks and what they are doing is borderline illegal-- when a high-interest product is about to hit the market, they advertise it in a very, very low price for pre-order. you get a vague ETA. then, using your money, they order the product in quantities. once they are about to receive the product, the price on their website goes up, up, up-- for immediate delivery. then they tell you that "oh, your product didn't arrive yet. the ones that arrived are for other people." yada yada ya... here is my cautionary tale: i saw the blackberry q10 advertised for $599 on their website. there was even a free shipping offer. i contacted them and understood this was a pre-sale. i had no qualms with that. i asked the ETA, i was told late april, early-may. i was still good with it. i made the payment then i started waiting. i chatted with them the last week of april and i was told the phones arriving "late next week". immediately after my chat, when they got the definite ETA, the price went up to $899. i called them on thursday, may 2, 2013-- i was told my phone has arrived and will ship the same day, or, latest, by friday. i confirmed this with chat again on friday-- they told me that the phones have arrived and it will be sent immediately. when i chatted again friday PM though, this time they told me they did not receive the phones. when i pressed them on, asking them to explain, they said "oh, the phones have arrived, but they are not the UK spec'd phones-- the one we will send you is a UK spec'd, the ones we received are US spec'd-- which, again is a lie because on may 2, 2013, the US spec'd phones were not even released-- as a matter of fact the only phones available in the market were the UK spec'd. to assure this, i called them again, 10 minutes later, on a different line-- i asked them if they had the blackberry q10 in stock, they said YES. i asked them if it was the UK spec'd phone, they said YES. they told me that the phone was available for immediate shipping if i placed an order for $899. obviously, the phone was not only available to poor suckers like me who pre-ordered it at a low price, and covered their overhead until they received the phones. i was really upset-- asked for them to explain themselves (and their lies)-- having told twice my item has arrived. i gave them my phone number-- i was told someone would call me. but, instead, my order was CANCELED, without asking for my consent, and my money was refunded after a few days. i guess they figured out they used me and my money enough and cut me lose. there is a term for this kind of business- it is FRAUD. you collect money for a competitively priced item as a pre-sale, then, you secure the item, and, once secured, you start lying to the pre-order customers, and start selling their orders for a much higher price to others. so, do your self a favor and stay away.

Do not buy anything from Overseas Electronics
This is the worst company I have every came in contact with. I'm in the Army living in Germany and order a Blackberry Storm from the company over the telephone. The company charge my bank account on the 10 Jan the same day I order it and mailed my telephone out on the 21 Jan. The company did not tell me that they only mail to APO on Sat only. They did not send a email telling me anything about my order. NO Invoice! The Oder section of the company has a bad attitude over the telephone. Please do not use this company if you live over seas and have a APO address. The company is not trust worthy with me because I have called the company five times about my telephone and still have not received a email about my telephone. I had to ask for the tracking number and they told me that it was mailed out on 17 and I found out that the company mailed it out on the 21 Jan. The Company can not be trusted and you do not treat the consumer like he is a second class. You are welcome to email me and ask for more information about the company. griffswa@***.com
