Dear sir I dined with my family at your restaurant on 13 Dec around 8.30 pm at Orchard Gateway Singapore. It was supposed to be a great family dinner. I told the waiter that I will be using HSBC Entertainer and she advised me on what to order. We finished the meal, and I requested for the bill, whilst showing the waiter the Entertainer app. However, he soon came back informing me that the app was for 2020. I had no choice but to pay the bill in full. Subsequently, as I went down to the 1st floor, I was unpleasantly surprised to find that there was a 30% discount offered by the restaurant. Therefore, I went back to the restaurant requesting to speak to the manager. I was told that I would not be entitled to the discount since I did not show the snap. When I asked the manager why the waiter did not tell us about this discount, she shrugged and said this was not restaurant practice to advise customers. I find this practice weird, and unfair, and am raising this up as I believe this constitutes poor and unfair customer service. Even though I am satisfied with the food, I would not be returning to Outback. Regards Raymond
