Origin

My review of Origin is from a purchase in 2013, and this is the experience I had with them:

In 2013 EA released SimCity 5, or just SimCity. I purchased the game through Origin.

When I realized I had purchased a game that was nothing like the SimCity I grew up with, well, I wanted a refund.

When I contacted Origin, asking for a refund, their response was, "Since you've purchased the game through Origin, we don't allow refunds." I was under the impression that purchasing a game, through Origin, would ensure complete customer satisfaction.

It was the complete opposite.

I don't know what or how Origin is today, but I made a pact with myself in 2013, and I have stuck to that ever since. I will not and can not purchase or download anything that has the EA or Origin label on it.

I originally signed in Origin with my college email, but that email has now expired. I've tried for nearly 2 YEARS to contact Origin to change my email so that I can log in and play the numerous games that I have PURCHASED at Walmart and other video stores, but I have been unable to contact them.

I have not been able to play any of the EA games I've purchased in two years because I have not been able to contact Origin. They make sure that you cannot contact them in any way. I've spent over $200 dollars on Sims games and extension packets and haven't been able to play them since my college shut down my email.

How is it, that you can purchase an actual game in CD form, and a company like Origin, now EA games, can keep you from playing it? I don't understand :(

I've only have 1 way to do this is the exact day I purchased that game then with a link back to me and I will know the last 4 of card I used when I paid for it then you can let me play said game.

I bought an APEX coin pack for $40.00 and my account is not linked to my PS4, so I am unable to use the coins and would like to be refunded my money. Thank you.

Trying to call someone regarding this constant issue with the Origin Game Launcher. However, I have not been able to successfully get any support via phone, email, or through a support ticket.

When creating a support ticket, the only options is a live chat or FAQs, none of which was helpful. Chat wait time was 12 minutes. I've waited for 2 hours and still currently waiting. Can you help with the Origin Game Client, which crashes any application you are in (ex., Office, browser, non-origin games and origin games).

Can someone please tend to this issue? PLEASE?

I have attempted to use the "forgot password" mode but no email came in. Nothing in my Inbox, Spam, or Trash.

This is been an issue for 2 weeks now.

I checked the status of my issue on their site and it said "Completed" when I have YET to hear from anyone. Made a new ticket yesterday (probably shouldn't have but I'm ticked) and hopefully one of the two tickets will get me help.

I would just like to advise everyone agaist giving the Origin gaming website your banking details, especially in South Africa. Last night I tried to buy a Sims 4 game with my credit card (it did not even go through) and this morning my bank called me informing me that someone tried to make several transaction from my card.

Luckily my bank picked up on this. So use with EXTREME caution!
