My winter electricity bill from Origin Energy is 6.6 kW more than this time last year, this is impossible as nothing has changed since last winter, in fact I have been trying to reduce usage. So I have tried to make a complaint, they will not log the complaint, if I want the meter checked I have to pay, they also want me to call an electrician to see if I have a faulty appliance, what a bunch of mongrels. They just keep talking in circles at you and repeating the same rubbish. The final one was so you want to complain because your usage has increased. Apparently that is not an allowable reason. IN the country we have no choice as to suppliers, we are stuck with a monopoly. Yet another rip off of the consumer.
