Dirt found in baby spinach, and this is the 2nd time in 1 month.

AI Highlights
  • - The page lists a phone number that is actually a fax line; messages were left.
  • - Spinach is triple washed, but grit was found.

I finally found the direct phone number to Organic girl.products . The phone number they put on their webpage, which they tell you to use to contact them, is a fax number, but they don't tell you this until you dial it and hear the fax ring.

Sneaky. So far I've left a message on their general phone line, then I called back to their HR number and got a rep to connect me to consumer affairs, but that person was not in so i left a second message. The product , baby spinach, is advertised as triple washed. Then explain how I'm finding dirt or grit while eating?

No, it's not from my salad dressing, as I'm.using a different brand of dressing then I was from two weeks ago, when I first noticed dirt or grit or glass(!) when eating. I switched to organic spinach 4 months ago, buying only Organic Girl baby spinach. No problems for the first 3 months, but two weeks ago I had my first issue with finding grit or dirt..

Too small to see, but you can feel.it between your teeth. Spinach is not supposed to be crunchy!!!

User's recommendation: Keep your receipts in case you find grit in your greens!
