Cancelled order refund

they took a deposit of two thousand pounds cash from elderly aunt and uncle and when they decided not to go ahead with the order were promised a refund we have trying to get this refund for nearly 11 months now courts have messed them about keep sending the paperwork back for 6 months trading standards don't want to know this company have been promising them they have sent a cheque out every week since june 2018 eventually in January this admitted they owe the money but are in financial difficulties s still no refund courts eventually sent them a letter and they sent iyt back saying that marc bridges is no longer there so therefore this has left them 2 thousand pound out of pocket and the authorities are not interested in the slightesed

BBC 1 investigation.

Today on the X ray consumer programme this orchid company was the subject of an investigation based on failed delivery dates and atrocious company communication with customers. It would seem best to avoid this company.

is this the company based in Colchester if it is I have been arguing with them for a refund for elderly aunt and uncle for the past 12 months they took two thousand pounds deposit and when they cancel there order 2 days later are promised refund saying cheque has been sent out still not got refund 11 months later trading standards don't want to know courts have messed us about for 6 months and now courts have sent them a summons they say they are no longer there

Orchid Mobility have been advertising in the national press, soon after their directors and senior management disbanded Westminster recliners, U.K. Mobility direct and Anchor Mobility. Don't be fooled, it's the same people Upto their same tricks, pressure sales, none delivery of product etc.

Very true , been waiting since March after paying £10000 worth of furniture have only seen part of it. We are frail and desperately need what we have ordered. It’s virtually impossible to get hold of any one who can give a clear indication of what is going on or when or if we will see what we have ordered
