Frauds Who Troll Authors
I was new at trying to promote a book and got screwed by Rachel Thompson aka Bad Red Head Media who has several aliases. The whole thing was sock puppet accounts that she "hired" people to run and then didn't pay them. People trying out a book blog tour got screwed because nothing was posted on time if at all. AND-- authors were writing all of the material being posted. After I got a refund for my failed promotion, Rachel and Company trolled me, posted attack reviews, and lied and lied and lied. Kriss Morton professional book blogger who worked for Rachel was the head minion who is too illiterate to know the difference between a takedown notice for using copyrighted material and a threat of a lawsuit. But what do you expect from thieving, lying *** like these people? The orangeberry website is now defunct and is *** Rachel is still peddling her garbage "expertise" and badly written "books". Do NOT give her one dime for any reason. Don't let her talk you into _anything_. She doesn't actually have any talent _except_ lying. If she did? She'd be doing that instead of defrauding good people with her garbage. I'm writing this to protect others from this grifting, thieving wench.

Reason of review
She needs to apologize to everyone she screwed. Kriss needs to stop lying about being threatened with a lawsuit
Stay far away from this business.
In June I paid $290 to Orangeberry Book Tours to help promote my new book release. I was supposed to receive multiple things for this money, including 60 reviews for my book. I received only one review and none of the other promised items. UPDATE - After the complaint an additional review was posted and the Facebook graphics FINALLY have been made. However, no additional reviews were posted. I have documentation of every conversation and screen shots of the pages necessary. I've included the code check on the policy page stating it was updated December 10th. I've also included the entire BBB complaint here and the email stating I would receive a refund. Interestingly enough, Orangeberry Book Tours updated their policy page. Although the updated page says it's from February 2014, a simple code check says the update was made in December of this year. That's mighty convenient. Multiple authors are in the same situation as I am. If you check the Orangeberry website, you can see that there has been virtually no movement on anyone else's tour. I used the BBB as a mediator and, while I knew the likelihood of receiving a refund was low, (even though I was promised money back), the business is now listed on the site which is good for everyone. I encourage ALL authors who have had a poor experience with this company to start speaking up.

Orangberry Book Tours Pandora Poikilos Missing Wages Internet I worked with Pandora Poikilos for 14 months. I was promised $200 a week ($10 an hour for 20 hours a week). I ended up working 12-16 hours a day. I did not have a problem with that. My problem is not getting paid. I am back owed over $5000 and all I have is a letter from some unknown attorney in California stating they Pandora Poikilos is going to sue me. All I want is the money owed to me. The $5000 in back wages, the $130 spent on Amazon books I was required to purchase and interest on wages. I have not seen any money since July 10. Over 4 months ago. She has called my husband several times but did not leave a message. When I tried to contact her so-called attorney all I get is a voice mail so he must not actually be a practicing attorney. I have documents stating about the wages and a letter acknowledging I am owed the money.

Problems with payment
Orangeberry Book Tours does not provide services offered.
I purchased a book tour with Orangeberry Book Tours. It has been over 12 months. I still have not received a single review on the book that toured with the company. When going to the website they are on Hiatus. $299 spend and no return. When contacted the company they might reply to an email 3-4 days later if that. I cannot file a complaint with Paypal since it has been more than 45 days. This company does not even have a phone or address listed. I should of know something was wrong but they made the deal sound so great in the email and it was cheaper than what other virtual book tour companies offered. At one time the company had a Facebook page & Twitter account. They have been deleted also. I am wondering how many people this fake company scammed and how many people were running this scam.
