Processing fee sucks

They charged more for the processing fee than for shipping, which makes no sense. Then we had a issue with the script, but got that resolved in decent time i guess. This company is a little shakey to me honestly.

OPTI CONTACTS DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS! A LOST PACKAGE FOR WEEKS NOW AND THEY ARE STILL GIVING ME THE RUN AROUND ABOUT NOT RECEIVING A CLAIM FROM UPS WHEN UPS SAID THEY SENT THEM THE CLAIM RESOLUTION! THEY DO NOTHING FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS WHEN YOU ARE BLIND AND PAID EXTRA FOR 1 DAY SHIPPING!! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY HERE!!

NO repsonse

I ordered my contacts online. I gave the prescription I needed online and it was verified with the order details on my receipt. When I received my contacts I assumed they were correct. Opened the package and placed the contact in my eye and could not see close. I ordered the monovision contacts which are stated on my prescription and I noted on the order details and they sent the single vision. I emailed 5 days ago and no response. Emailed again yesterday, no response. These contacts are not cheap because I have a stigmatism. Frustrating.

Bait and Switch

Opticontacts uses a Bait and Switch tactic for their Free Glasses promotional! Normal processing fee is $2.00 with the promotion it is $9.95!! Normal shipping USPS is $6.00 with the promotion it is $8.95!! Why????....USPS is the same price for the glasses either way!! Why do they charge more to process??!! This is a way to cover the cost for what they say is free!! This is a Bait and Switch SCAM!!

OptiContacts has great prices on contacts

I ordered contacts last year and got a GREAT deal. Time to re-order this year and the price had doubled. I tried to find the same discount I got last year for the re-order. It wasn't easy to find the discount and I can't tell you how I did it, but I was able to get the contacts at the same price I did last year. The contacts came in a timely manner and I am happy.

Horrible Experience

“I've been using contacts for a long time and never had such a bad experience with a company and customer service in general. I've been waiting for my contacts to arrive for 2 weeks.

I wasn't worrying, since I haven't received any emails from the company that they are having any issues with the order. I checked my bank account and the card was charged 4 days after the order has been placed. However, I was using the last pair and I become concern after 2 weeks. I called the company and representative told me they couldn't process my order due to expired prescription.

On my question, why no one ever notified me and my card still has been charged 4 days later, he said that they send me an email. Of course, no one ever did that because I was checking my email every single day. Who would ever wait for a delivery if they sent me an email. Representative didn't care much and he didn't try to help.

The worst customer service experience ever. I lost time as well as didn't get my contacts.

My contacts that are in my eyes right now is old. Will make sure to let all my friends know about it, so they wouldn't use this company.

Great Experience!

Very very fast delivery and prescription approval. Will purchase from you guys again. Excellent prices and website was extremely easy to navigate. It is very common to see these contacts online but not at such an agreeable price. Thank you so much for creating a website that has this level of accessibility from home where you do not have to go out into the world and you can sit at home and do noting and then contacts just show up magically to your door. In a very short amount of time, hopefully none of us will have to leave their home for any reason in the very near future unless you want to.

I'm not sure why this went to Pissed Consumer when I wanted to input a review, because I certainly did not have a bad experience. I found the entire process to be fast and easy. The website was clear and easy to navigate, the check out process was fast. The hardest part of the entire order was waiting to see if my ophthalmologist would sign off on the order, but the next thing i knew my contacts were at the front door. The box appeared neatly labeled and clearly marked, with no visible damage. The contacts were even newly made with long term expiration dates. I was extremely happy with the entire system and would definitely order from Opticontacts again in the future.
