A Lawsuit Waiting to Happen
Having terrible issues with this car - DANGEROUS issues. The anti-collision mitigation system kicks in by itself FOR NO REASON in the middle of the road causing the car to come to a screeching halt.
Yesterday I was EXTREMELY close to being rear ended. The poor woman behind me was terrified, as was I and my passenger. I can't count on two hands how many times this has happened over the past year. Dealership tells me to turn it off.
WHY AM I PAYING 46K FOR A CAR WITH THIS KIND OF "SAFETY" TECHNOLOGY IF IT DOESN'T WORK CORRECTLY. Service department is RUDE and totally unwilling to help at BOTH dealerships I've been to (Open Road Acura of Wayne and Acura of Ocean - both in NJ) This seems like something they are hiding to avoid a lawsuit - they don't seem to want to even hear about it yet alone investigate the issue.
Get out of your lease if you still can - i'm turning this car at the end and WALKING AWAY to the Mercedes-Benz dealership up the street. In the meantime I'm sending a letter to all corporate executives as well as the man who sold me the car last April.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution
