OneSource Virtual is the software company that supports COBRA coverage through my prior work. To get COBRA, you need to login with the supplied username and create a password.
After that, you choose to elect which coverages are still needed.
I only needed dental temporarily to complete some work that still needs to be done, which is $42/mo. After electing dental coverage only and I go to pay, OneSource Virtual charges a $20 PROCESSING FEE per online transaction.
Here's the catch...
They will NOT allow you to pay in advance to avoid additional processing fees.
They will not allow additional payments past 1 month only.
This is explicitly explained in the payment instructions.
I think this is a complete scam. I'm paying 50% of my premium as processing fees, and cannot avoid them due to the fact that the company refuses to allow additional payments to the premium.
BEWARE of this company, especially if you're a business trying to find a COBRA coverage software admin.
