Wetsuit quality and warranty

My O'Neill wetsuit worn no more than 12 times - only just out of warranty by 2 months falling apart on the welded seams. Contacted O'Neill customer service, told twice out of warranty is out of warranty - on the third contact agreed to look at wetsuit.

Agreed to give online credit of 30% off new wetsuit purchased from them online. Did not agree to this - without my consultation the warranty team would credit the store I purchased the wetsuit from the store purchase amount in credit for goods - basically put it back onto the store owner to wear the poor workmanship of their product they they acknowledged buy offering some sort of refund.

A final comment from the warranty team was that they did not have a wetsuit to replace it !!??

Poor consumer consultation, poor warranty policy on product, was led to believe I was not the first person to complain about the problem, made inquiry to Dept of Fair Trading - O'Neill know their policies, limitations and boundary's to get away with it, will look at a different brand next time. Jack O'Neill would turn in his grave as a surfer if he knew that this is how his company was run.
