On the Fly Computer Guy

AI Highlights
  • Charged $30 to diagnose a power-supply issue.
  • More fees were suggested.
  • After pickup, the PC had a grinding noise and an upside-down logo by the fan.

I had good service from this company prior to last weekned, I took my broken desktop to see if it could be fixed. Mike P.

the technician charged me $30.00 labor to tell me the problem was my power supply. A minute later he says"oh, it's not the problem" and then goes into explaining more fees to find the problem. I tell him, no I would just buy a new one instead of spending more money to "find" a problem and the additonal repair costs. I tell him, "I'm just going to take it.

So after 15 minutes or so, he returns my computer after working with it in the back. I get it hom and check it a few days later, I turn it on and it's making some mysterious grinding noise it didn't make before.

I look at the back of the computer and noticed it has an upside down logo where the fan is...???? He apparently replaced my computer part with one of their "parts" a fan I'm guessing....
