I would also like to know if you were rotating areas? I have some dead skin issues but nothing similar to yours.

I'm going to assume you were rotating areas where you put the pump and didn't always put it in the same spot, like moving from one side to the other and putting the needle in ...

I had a pod fail and I called Customer Service and the guy gave me no help. I asked what a certain code meant and he just kept going around my question. Any one else have/had this experience? What did you do after it happened?

The pod did not deliver any insulin at all and my sugars remained incredibally high. After four different attempts to receive insulin I had to remove the pod and give myself a shot using the humalog kwik pen. Within 25 minutes my sugar began to drop.

I too have lots of pod failures for no reason! I'm a RN and know what I'm supposed to do. Horrible customer service, on hold over 45 minutes to try to get replacement pods. Going to go back to Medtronic pump. Had one for years, not one failure!!!!

I've been a type 1 diabetic for 20 years. Had wanted an insulin pump ever since they first came out, but was active, and a bit accident prone and hated the idea of tubing all over the place. Was so excited for Omnipod. It seemed like everything I wanted/needed and had...
