I have an Omega Constellation watch which is going under repair /service with Malabar Gold service center. This is the second time in two years that this watch, which I was using for more than ten years without any trouble, going under major identical service/repair . The initial reason to send this watch to service is for replacement of expired battery ( Battery expired just in two years!!) More over this service center took more than two months to rectify it, and the watch is still not delivered to me.

This makes doubt in me about the competence and quality of this service center.

I have been fortunate to purchase an Omega Constellation Automatic at auction and note thar it has been officially certified. Its serial no is 3613****.

Are you able to provide me with a duplicate test certificate?.

Unbelievable lack of customer service … Unbelievable lack of customer service access. Zero live people available to take a customers call.

No call backs from voice mail. I had taken a smp300 to "Spitz jewelers" in walnut creek, ca. They are the local authorized dealer. I paid $550 for a routine service.

Watch came back: 1: ran way fast out of spec +30 seconds/day 2: was unable to turn bezel 3. Huge scratches/deep gouges on caseback where the tool slipped returned to have these issues fixed now watch seizes randomly case back was simply sanded down to remove the scratches this place ruined my watch.

I was unable to get any call back from Omega for any help. Last omega I will ever buy.

I asked if any watches were at a reducex price,and was told they do not ever do deals lol.

I bought a lower end Omega for about $1200. Thee years later it stops working.

I was out of the warrenty period- that lasts for two years- so I know the repair will be my responsibility. I call Omega to sent it in to repair the problem. they say that they do not just repair their watches- they will only do a $600 overhaul on the whole watch. My choice was to pay $600 or my watch would remain broken.

Furthermore they went on to say that owners were return their watch about every 4-5 years....

at $600 a pop. Meaning total cost over 20 years of owning a $1000 watch is $4000 (original purchase of $1000 plus a $600 overhaul every four years - at cost of $3000).

I got a $1,700 Omega watch as a birthday present four years ago from my wife who bought it at Lenkersdorfers. Now, after four years at the first battery change, Lenkerdorfers told us that the watch needs an "overhaul" and it will cost $370.

I never had a $20 watch go bad on me in 4 years. This is outrageous - never buy an Omega product - ever! Their product is a piece of junk and they rip you off.

In addition, when I tried to submit a complaint through the Omega website - it actually doesn't let you submit anything - it gives you a "general error occured" message. So, it is not enough, that they make junk, and they try to rip you off, but really they don't want to hear from you either.
