Lack of transparency

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
AI Highlights
  • - The deal maker never mentions dealer fees, called secret profit.
  • - The finance office clearly discusses dealer fees and they are not negotiable.

The deal maker never mentions the secret profit - "Dealer Fees", that are stated as additional profit. The sales manager does disclose it as they go through the workup. It is only clearly discussed in the finance office, and is not negotiable.

User's recommendation: Be aware of the hidden profit practices here before making a deal.

AI Highlights
  • - They claim to be #1 in customer service.
  • - Arrived 4:40 pm; told to return Monday for an estimate.
  • - Described as corporate bureaucracy, not mom-and-pop.

They claim to be #1 in customer service. Unfortunately for me, I arrived at 4:40pm, 20 minutes before they close, and the man said he I need to comeback on Monday, today is Friday, to get an estimate.

Why are their doors open if they are not going to provide service? I find this to be as anti-business as it gets. I am sure Mr. O'Meara, the founder, would be ashamed of this behavior.

Why should I make a second trip when they were open for business and turned a me away. Must be corporate bureaucracy.

Sure not the mom and pop shop attitude of the customer comes first, not we close in 20 minutes go away your not important to us. We are big enough!

was told it did not happen in there lot. service man earl said to call ford. called ford nothing called service manager tom said he would call me back never did left 5 messages was told it was pressure tested before it left there if it was ate by a critter before we went there with it it it would not have passed a pressure test after repair if it was even done so now i have to spend thousand of dollars to replace the turbo as it was not repaired right the first time. as turbo ran out of fluid.

Ripped Off!

AI Highlights
  • - Price was raised by $10,000 and I paid over $6,500 more than listed.
  • - They added extended warranty and offered $1,000 for my trade but paid $100.

Bought a used 2013 Ford Explorer, they added 10,000 onto the price until I caught it. They said they gave me $1000 for my trade, gave me $100.

They added on an extended service warranty I did not ask for, and continued to attempt to rais the price of the car every time the salesmen came back from the losers in the office.

By the time I got out, I paid over $6500 more then the cars was listed as! I kind of let them rip me off, my time is worth more.

But what trash bags! Nobody should Ever go to the crooks!

Worst dealership ever

AI Highlights
  • - Pushy staff pressured me to sign and leave with the car.
  • - Down payment not refunded after returning, and Ruben was disrespectful.

Absolute worst car dealership ever. I came in to purchase a vehicle.

After being told I was approved and putting down a portion of the car down payment, I drove off the lot with the vehicle. The entire staff was pushy and they make you sign and initial in multiple areas where they will not even tell you the vehicle price unless you agree to purchase the vehicle today. I did not even want to purchase the vehicle but felt pushed into it. I told the staff multiple times I did not want to leave with the vehicle without being approved completely.

But I was told - we have no deal unless you drive off the lot with it. Unfortunately, after returning from Afghanistan, losing my job, going bankrupt, and trying to rebuild my credit - I couldn't finish the deal. I returned the vehicle the next day and the REFUSED to refund ANY part of my down payment. And when I came in to give the vehicle back I was told to sleep on it, keep it another night.

I signed the contract stating I would pay $50 per day for use and .50 per mile. I certainly did not use $250.00 of the amount I put down. And even after returning the vehicle, the dealership continued to try and get the deal approved - which thank God the bank working to approve my deal called me and asked about it. I told them I returned the vehicle and wanted nothing more to do with the dealership.

I don't know what they were trying to pull with the bank telling them I still wanted to work the deal. On top of that, while dealing with the financial manager Ruben, I was treated with complete disrespect. I was talked down to like I was an *** and worthless. I cannot get calls back from any department for the refund or to ask about it.

And every time I try to call in, I get transferred to someones voice mail who never picks up or calls either. Worst dealership ever. I was only trying to find a good vehicle with good mileage for less than I pay for a BMW right now. But thanks to finding an even better job, I am able to make my BMW payments without a problem.

So it was a God send that this deal did not go through. Unfortunately, I have filed multiple complaints to the BBB here in Colorado to try and get some form of refund. In the end, this was perfect since the vehicle they tried to sell me had nearly bald tires and engine problems. I will probably never be refunded in the end because they have found multiple ways around this with the BBB complaints stating falsely that I had the vehicle longer than I did and drove further than I did.

Stay away from this dealership and find another. You will be treated better and with more respect no matter what has happened to you.

Bait and Switch

AI Highlights
  • - Bought a vehicle from Omeara Ford Northglenn CO on 11/19/11.
  • - Original quote $489/mo, later $429.
  • - They kept the down payment after I returned the car.

I purchased a vehicle from Omeara Ford Northglenn CO on 11/19/11 and 11 days later was called to return the vehicle to the dealership. When I originally purchased the car they said I was approved and was willing to sell me the car for 489/month but the finance guy took the payment down to 429 which I was happy with.

I was told that the financing had been delayed because the bank didn't like my debt to income ratio but I am post chapter 7 bankruptcy so I had no debt and they knew it. They told me that the bank now didn't think that I could afford the car. The funny thing is that when they called me at work they called me by the wrong name and confirmed that I had 2 jobs which was incorrect. Paul the Omeara something or another told me that 4 cases had just been kicked back from the bank and that they would be able to get me into a "lesser" car from them using the same bank?

WHAT???? When I went to return the car "EMILY" the finance manager who must be related to satan informed me that I needed to understand that these things happen and I said no I don't think so and since you breached the contract I want my down payment back and she said no basically I rented the car. I gave her back the keys and they kept my money.

DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE THEY WILL KEEP YOUR DOWNPAYMENT FOR SURE. TOTAL BAIT AND SWITCH TACTIC................................

I just went thru a similar experience with PRO jeep but they were kind enough to return my trade in to me and didn't charge me for the car I had to return. Thanks for the heads up because Omeara said they could get me approved for a loan for a similar car and save me some money???

Well if you hadn't claimed bankruptcy in the past you wouldn't have been denied.

O’Meara Ford on104th

AI Highlights
  • - Arrived with outside financing, ready to close.
  • - Finance pressed on four-thousand-dollar price difference.
  • - Car was ransacked; hood unsecured.

I came in with outside financing arranged, car picked out, ready to close the deal in 30 minutes. The salesman sent the finance man over to play the back & forth game.

I was asked 4 times how much the internet price was (a four thousand dollars difference). I was told I was wasting the finance mans time because he was on his way out the door when I arrived.

When I asked for the keys to my car which I had planned to trade in, they tried to play the good salesman, bad salesman game.

My car had been ransacked and I didn't realize the hood was not secure until I was back on the highway.

O'MEARA FORD NORTHGLENN, COLORADO

AI Highlights
  • - Sold car with unclear title; financing at a higher rate.
  • - Trade-in not returned; alleges contract breach.
  • - Emily won't call back; Beto criticized.

They suck and are *** They sold us a car without a clear title which now cant be financed, only at a higher interest rate, typical bait and switch. They have our trade and refuse to give back even though O'MEARA FORD breached the contract.

I went to a couple of other dealerships and wow, no high pressure sales and they treated us with respect. PLEASE avoid EMILY, the finance manager as she wont call you back unless you call her something to get her attention and BETO a worthless salesman. They have come by several times when I am not at home to harass. I did go back last week to solve the problem and they kept us there for an hour, practically ignored us, so we walked out.And when you go to their dealership the VULTURES are waiting.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, DONT EVER GO TO O'MEARA, YOU WILL REGRET IT.THEIR CALLS ARE ALSO WAY OVERPRICED.

I agree. They screwed us over with our lease and it's a huge struggle to get your DL or keys back from them if you don't come to an agreement on price.

They are nothing but bullies, and sadly is that way from the management as well. They back their employees rather than the customer, even when the employee lies to get a sale. Words cannot stress how much I urge people not to go to O'Meara.

They are awful!!!!!!!!! You WILL get screwed if you do business there!
