Emergency power outage
- - Electrician tried to troubleshoot at the meter center around 2:00 pm, the breaker shutoff caused a direct short, and 911 NE# arrived to contact OPPD.
November Friday the 28th 2025 around 2:00 pm the electrician was attempting to troubleshoot an electrical problem. The electrical issue was at the meter center.
When the breaker was shut off it caused a direct short inside the meter center. We had 4 different people calling every available # all failed to connect.
We had to call 911NE# for help so they could call oppd. Then they arrived.

LWe had a bad storm that came through on Friday night/Saturday morning. We have wires in trees and can get them cut down because oppd needs to take and shut off the wires..
Which I know and understand a lot is going on, but they are more worried about turning on the lights not fixing wires and wire sparking today all they can state is that they are aware and will be as soon as they can, they have known about this problem and got multiple calls and messages when.
I bring up fires and kids is that is what they are saying, and It's okay for it to happen I get no answer back, so to me that's say that's what they want, or it's okay, when you have pets and kids and memories in your home. YES I have insurance on the home, but that doesn't bring g it back.
