Poor Service Review
Seriously poor. I ordered, they took my money over a month ago and, despite calls and emails, I have not managed to get hold if anyone.
Ended up reporting them to the police.
Hope they are shut down. Crooks
They were extremely quick at debiting my credit card, never received my order
DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!!!!
In October I ordered approx. $400 in merchandise, never rec'd it!!!
After numerous long distance calls (1-800 doesn't work in Canada), they kept giving me the run around, saying that international orders only go out once a week and the order would be sent the following week; never happened). Finally in December they said the order would arrive before Christmas. The order was for a birthday gift in Oct not a Christmas gift!! Christmas and New Years came and went and still nothing!!
They were quick and debiting my credit card....Please save your money, time and aggravation and do not order from Olive Kids!!!!!!
Customer Service phone disconnected, no response from company
Placed order on 12-2-13 and when 12-12-13 came with no email about shipping the company was sent an email. Their email response was that "production was behind" on the items that I had ordered.
Since I had to start traveling on 12-18 I emailed back to cancel the order, I also called the number listed in the email for the customer service rep and that the number was disconnected. I went to the web site and found another number to call which I did, no one answered and left detailed message to cancel the order and call me back. Never have received a call back. I received another email from the company on 12-16 saying that the order shipped but it was a bogus shipping number.
They did NOT ship the order on that date, it appears that the order was actually shipped on 12-23 and did not arrive in time for christmas. They still have not responded to any emails or calls.
I have filed a complaint with the BBB and the company has not responded to the complaint either. Watch out for this scam company, Buyer beware!!
NO customer service, telephone number that is disconnected
Orders items for my grandkids on 12-2-13. On 12-12-13 I still had not received an email that items were shipped so sent an email to the company.
The reply that I got back was that my item was "behind in production" but should be shipped out on 12-16-13. The was still a problem since I needed to travel on 12-18-13 for the Holiday and stated that I wanted to cancel my order. When I did not get an email back that day, I called the number listed in the mail telling me my order was not done. This toll free number is disconnected.
I then sent another email, went to the website and was able to find a non toll free number and left a message on that number on the 13th. I have not received a phone call as of yet. In addition they sent me an email telling me my order has shipped but this is not true. It is a "pending" shipment and has been pending for 4 days now.
What a scam.
Clearly this company is in trouble and I'm sure that my money and product are lost forever. Beware of this company.
Olive kids - horrible customer service!
I was searching for a cute set of "big boy" sheets, and decided to go with a sheet set from olivekids.com. I put the order in on June 24, and my visa was processed the same day.
On July 18th, I received an email that the comforter wasn't available. I have never dealt with an online company that took almost a month after taking my money, to tell me it wasn't available. Generally it is within 24 hours of putting my order in! On the same day of receiving the email saying it wasn't available, I sent an email in response requesting a full refund.
On July 26, having not received my money back, giving them the benefit of the doubt, I decided to call them and request a different sheet set. Today is September 10th, and I still haven't received my order. I called, and the order hadn't even been even shipped, after more than a month. The one good thing I can say, is that the customer service for a "pissed customer" was decent, as after explaining my frustrations and requesting a full refund, I received it almost immediately.
I prefer not to have to deal with online companies in such a manner, and will NEVER deal with this company again. My "big boy" has been using old plain sheets for over 3 months now.
In my home, I celebrate going from a crib to a bed with special sheets, and I am saddened that my little guy has had to wait so long. I am off to buy the poor guy some sheets right now, so he can have special sheets just like his big sister!
Horrible Children's Bedding
I ordered a fair amount of very expensive bedding for my son on a site called Olive Kids. The photographs on the site were all quite nice, so I submitted an order of about $260 for a comforter, sheets, drawer pulls etc etc.
Basically a whole theme for my son's room. After I opened the product, the tag for the comforter was in the upper left-hand corner of the blanket -- right next to where your face should be. The decals on the drawer pulls are bubbling, peeling and cracking off, and the sheets look like someone smudged whatever they used to print the design on them.
It looks horrible and their return policy is for unopened product that they can turn around and sell again. However, there was no way of knowing this was such an inferior product until you opened it.
