Mold in bag

AI Highlights
  • - Mold covered multiple pieces inside a sealed bag of Old Wisconsin Turkey Bites.
  • - Opened after purchase; the bag was discarded and not recommended.

I purchased a bag of Old Wisconsin Turkey Bites from Walmart in Branson and opened it the next morning after returning to Kansas City. The product was completely covered in mold inside the sealed bag.

This was not a small spot, multiple pieces were visibly contaminated.

This is very concerning for a packaged, ready-to-eat product that is supposed to be shelf stable.

It raises serious questions about quality control, storage, and safety.

I had to throw the entire bag away, which was a waste of money, but more importantly, this could have made someone sick if they didnt notice before eating it.

I would not recommend this product based on this experience. Buyers should check carefully before consuming.
