Terrible communication

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I sent a detailed analysis of a problem: I have two state tax IDs. I asked how to delete one of them, and if it was to be done online, what forms and where?

I got back a reply You have two accounts.

No kidding.

My email listed both accounts, as well as which one I wanted to delete.

After the useless email from Joan K, Ive now been on hold for 37 minutes.

Cons:
  • Monthly filing
  • Terrible service

Preferred solution: I’d like a person to answer my actual questions and care about their job and the state, and not just create more hoops to jump through.

User's recommendation: Use a state like Delaware and get a registered agent.

Didn't get car title

My car title was lost or ...?'

The OK Tax Commission told me they would send me another, then wrote and said they would not. Now they say I have to buy another one, which will also get lost, no doubt

They have had my tax return a total o 6 weeks, I am owed a $700 refund. Four weeks ago I submitted my W2 as requested for their "new" Identity Theft requirements and have heard nothing.

The associates who answer the phones appear to be cannon fodder for all the inquiries they receive and all they can say is that there is a backlog. It's infuriating##..

The workers are very rude and have a bad attitude

Customer Service skills need to be offered to the workers. You have more workers helping with tag and registration and hardly any for DL and ID

OTC mof missing tax return five years earlier

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

In Nov 2019 OTC notified me that I had not filed a 2014 return, which I knew was incorrect and sent OTC a paper copy of my 2014 return, e-filed in 2015. OTC's only response was to start sending invoices for the tax due amount I showed in my 2014 return, plus penalties and interest back-calcultated 5 years, doubling the amount.

After months of phone calls and letters to OTC, I finally decided to resolve the issue by sending a cashiers check for original taxes and requested a waiver of the penalties and interest.

Again no response or credit for my payment from OTC, who filed a tax lien against me for the full T+P+I amount and turned my account over to a Texas debt collection law firm. I've filed returns and paid OK taxes since moving to OK in 1991.

Cons:
  • Over-reaching
  • Unresponsive
  • Oppressive

Preferred solution: Decision on waiver request, credit for my payment, release of tax lien, and advise Texas debt collection law firm to BACK THE *** OFF! (PLUS an apology for being an unresponsive, bureacracy-paralyzed monolith)

User's recommendation: Document EVERY return and tax payments to OTC, in case they lose your records and charge double for their mismanagement.

Horrible Customer Service

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Wife tried to drop of my tax receipts and the security guard sent her to the wrong window. So then she gets to the window that's incorrect and the lady tells my wife while shaking her finger in the air I ain't talking to you.

I am so glad I was not there. I would have explained to that lady where she can shove my tax receipts. I will be calling to talk to a supervisor today and we know that won't do much good.

Why do they just take anyone off the street with poor customer service. SMH
