Lost quality of life

Had colonic inertia. Was referred to Dr. Craig Johnson, a gastro surgeon. Was sold a subtotal colectomy, (take out part of the colon). As being prepped for procedure, nurse says I'll have diarrhea the rest of my life. Sent for Johnson and asks if this is true. He says the nurse doesn't know anything. After surgery, I find I have only 1" of colon remaining. 8 years later, still have diarrhea. Had to sell the boat, can't go to the lake; snow skiing is too risky with bathrooms at just the top and bottom of mountain; personal life with spouse is depressing. Tried many meds. None work well. This man took more than too much colon. He took my quality of life.
