Ogden Athletic Club Membership Review from Roy, Utah

I have been a customer for Ogden Athletic Club for more than nine years. About six months ago I went back to cancel my membership because I've been working out of town. Some of the workers convinced me to extended tge contract instead of canceling it that I just have to come in and reinstate the contract after 6 month. They call me today telling me that they have to charge me $120 because they already reinstate the contract for me. And I told them I have been out of town I'm not in there if there's a way for them to waive that amount. The supervisor spoke to categorically refuse to help me and told me I have to pay that amount. I just feel like a customer that's been there for that long deserves a better treatment. And I have a lot of family member that still goes to that gym and I don't want to be the one suggesting them to don't go there anymore and if that's the case I will do my best to convince some of them to cancel their membership.

Ogden Athletic Club - Sold to West Coast Athletic Clubs

Go to www.yonigottesman.com to find out more about the new owners and management of the Ogden Athletic Club. 16.1 million dollars were awarded (May 2009) to the plaintiffs (parents) in the drowning of their 4 year old boy at the first day of an unlicensed summer camp at one of their West Coast Athletic Clubs in California. Watch the actual 13 minute videotape of the drowning and read about how the owners/management quickly shifted ownership and management to distance themselves from liability. Where did they get the resources to purchase the Ogden Athletic Club? Why are they purchasing a club in another state? Will you trust your children with this ownership after visiting the website above and seeing how they dealt with previous club members?

The new owners have a problem with billing. They have gone from a small friendly business to a big time business, but they do not know to do the billing for a big time business.

They need a new program or some new people who know what they are doing. I have had charges that are not mine for the past three months and my name is not even correct. I Never had this with the old owners.

Big business owners with much bigger problems. I hope they get them straightened out soon.

I heard the Ogden Athletic Club was in financial trouble and this new ownership came in and bailed them out. I just wonder if they have the resources to make this work.

I used to go to the club but it has gone downhill the last few years. The new ownership does not sound like an improvement. I'll stay with Golds Gym.
