- Ad promised to fight to win or money back; lawyer pursued a plea.
- I was asked for $1,500 more to go to trial.
- I have to handle court issues myself.
They are not responding back. I told them I want a refund as I am having to handle the matter on my own. Still reply.
Their ad says fight your case to win or money back. They lawyer that was Assigned to my case only tried for a plea deal. I had told the lawyer I wanted it dismissed. Now the lawyer is saying he wants 1500.00 dollars more to take it to trial.
That is not what their ad stated. Also the lawyer is not addressing issue to court for me, I have to do everything myself.
- Only seem to do pleas
Preferred solution: Full refund
User's recommendation: Stay away from.this service. There are others to.pick from.

- Husband didn’t do it; dash cam footage exists.
- Lawyer pled guilty; we weren’t told about trial options.
- Fine rose from $85 to $243 plus a $250 fee.
We live in NY, got a ticket for running a stop sign, which my husband did NOT do- I was in the car and we also have dash cam footage. The lawyer did NOTHING but pled is giilty.
We already don’t get points for an out of state ticket. Instead of the fine being $85 dollars it turned into $243 dollars- PLUS the cost of offtherecord.com if $250!!
They should have TOLD us NJ does not do deals- we were not told we personally had to go to trial if we wanted to plead not guilty.
All they did was take a lot of money out of a disabled household. Steer clear of these scam artists!

Hi Terry! The fee paid upon booking is to cover pre-trial negotiations, which is the standard scope for most basic traffic cases.
Your attorney reached an outcome in pretrial, but you insisted the case needed to continue to trial. Your attorney indicated this was unlikely to yield a positive result. The fee paid initially does not cover the many hours and multiple court appearances required to navigate a full court trial- we were clear about this. Further, your attorney has already completed the pre-trial work.
Had you indicated at booking that you wanted to take this case to trial, your attorney would have quoted their trial fee upfront.
You are not required to proceed to trial or pay the additional fee, as we have communicated. Our customer service team is still working with you to reach a resolution.
