I arrived at 845pm and really nice guy name jeff i believe he was manager honored a discount that had expired just yesterday and when i started telling him our dtory about why we needed the sign asap he was so nice tjat he mot only gave me the disvount he also took the ten dollars off coupon if you spend 30 on top of my discount ! Becuasre we have been spenfimg so much on posters i believe i have ordered more than 15 posters 24x36 in the past ! It really appreciate him going above and beyond and especially it was alreafy closong and he made these posters happen ! Thank you thank you jeff at the colma ca store i will always go yo office depot for lasy minute posters ! Really appreciate the service and discount i recieved from jeff ! Angry i bring my computer to their tech dept because I cant access my C drive, my computer is ok I can able to open the computer but they broke my computer they told me that I need to pay additional 310 because the computer motherboard is broken, do not go to office depot signal hill they their tech dept doesnt know how to fix conputers!!!

Expererience with s savaged unpleasant customer service representative.

I Took my computer to office depot on Morris Avenue and the crew I met when I dropped the comouter off were very plesant. It was a mature man and a young guy. They were nuce. However my computer was in the store for over a week and none have the currsity to call to even provide me with an update. I had to call to ask about my computer. I took my computer there because I bought it from there a few a couple years ago and and the company were much better then. My worst experience was when I went to pick my computer up I met with a very savaged rude and unpleasant customer service rep. He seemed like he didnt want to do his work. He ask me one question about 4 times. I got a bit frustrated and he discovered that so he then rudley told me that they have more than 100 computers in the back but the fact id he didnt ask the questions he needed to ask first he as me if my computer was being repaired I told him it was there for removal of virous. He did not ask me what kind of computer at first but then he wad very rude so he the sarcastly ask what type of computer I have I told him. I ask him to plug up the computer for me ti see what was done he plugged it uo a stood there and never say a word hr just stood there and never even explained what he did.This is now the worst company to purchase anything from. I dont have to put up with this there are too many other stores that will treat people with respect.

Account confusion

I called Customer Service. The rep was pleasant but could not correct the problem. My new phone number is registered to another account holder and therefore the store discount was denied to me. She has given up the number and it was newly assigned to me two weeks ago. I was told by rep in Customer Service on the phone that I would need to speak to the store manager. I was also told that a note would be added to my account for a 10% (not the 20% in store) discount, but I will have to call back once the item is received before it can be applied. I am most interested in this problem of account confusion being cleared up so that this does not happen to me again. Debbie Meaux

Your employee acted as if by getting a rewards card I saved $5.00. Total lie the item was on sale from $24.99 to $19.00 already giving me the $5.00 savings. It is just a shame that you cannot be honest over $5.00. I am sure he gets some kind of reward for me looking like an idiot. I have so much to thank for welcoming me as a son. Just today I try to apply for the credit card at the OFFICE DEPOT store located at 7240 SW 88th St Miami, Florida between 6 pm to 8 p.m. With the interest of buying a equipment that only and exclusively was in this place, for its characteristics and taking advantage of the geographical location very close to my house, I am directed to Denis Florestant, sales consultant and great person, to make the application, the which requests additional data, making from the store the call to the number of new personal accounts {{Redacted}}, and talking to a FIRST REPRESENTATIVE confirms the approval of a credit of $ 1000.00 and assures me that I could make the purchase at the time , presenting only my identification card, then I refer to the aforementioned sales consultant, to proceed with the payment of the equipment, when he enters the data on his computer, none of these appear, so the FIRST MALTREAT AND A LIE is evidenced, I make a second call, this time the SECOND REPRESENTATIVE tells me that I must wait for 7 to 10 days and upon receiving the card I could then make the purchase. Why if my application was made from the store and my credit was approved and they are also confirming it, I can not make the purchase? Why are other people allowed to make the purchase immediately after their credit was approved? This is a clear example of DISCRIMINATION. There is no store in this country where you apply for a credit and being approved you have to wait 7 to 10 days to execute a purchase. I request to speak with a Manager of the National Customer Service, his name James, from whom he expects a positive, logical response and his words were: IF YOU WANT CANCEL THE CREDIT REQUEST (Verify in the recordings the veracity of my words) An unethical response, against all commercial marketing and management policy. Office Depot advertised a promotion for double back in rewards on all writing from 9/30-10/13. On 10/6 I purchased some writing items, but I only received 4% back instead of double (200%) back.

The rep informed me that the deal was actually double rewards (4% back) instead of double back in rewards, even though my screenshot of the deal says differently. Office Depot changed the wording of the deal after the fact and then refused to honor the deal as it was written at the time of purchase. It is very poor customer service to refuse to honor an advertised promotion, but changing the promotion in an effort to confuse customers and get out of honoring it is deceptive and shady. Customer service has been terrible and after arguing back and forth for several weeks the rep finally told me I can return the items if I have an issue with it or else hire a lawyer to pursue the false advertising.

When a company would rather get lawyers involved than honor their own promotion that says a lot about the company. Buy at your own risk and be sure to screenshot every step of the way.

Tech support has no respect for customer or their time

On Feb 26 I called into tech support at 7:39 pm to get assistance connecting computers to a new printer after purchasing tech support for one year on Feb 15 2019. Waited patiently so I called back at 8:57 spoke with Andrew B. who was rude, unprofessional, and tactless in his interaction. He sent an email to download the driver to install on the computer and was unsuccessful in his efforts, put me on an extended hold (15 min) and disconnected without notice at 9:35 pm. How rude and unacceptable is that? A second tech support agent logged on remotely at 10:03 worked for 12 minutes, lost connection at 10:15, did not reconnect or respond to my questions until 10:35 pm. This session was long and dragged out, often taking 15 minutes break without giving notice, as I was told the pcs were connected to the printer but somehow during the test demo the printer was not responding. The technician logged off at midnight without completing this process leaving me to call in a third time on the original request. I am waiting on the third tech support agent as I type and submit this review. I am very displeased with this service and would not suggest it to anyone. These agents lack respect, professionalism, and heart to perform their duties well.

I needed to furnish an office in one of my suites asap. I did not want to wait for 2 days through Amazon. I spent a lot of time searching local office supply stores online and found that Office Depot had the items I wanted. I checked the "in store availability" option online and found that the nearest store with all of the items that I needed was 30 miles away. I had to wait for nearly two days to have the time, moving truck, and staff to drive 30 miles and retrieve the items. It took us most of the morning to meet, get the truck, and drive 30 miles north. When we got to the store, literally, every item was out of stock and only had the floor item available, which we were told we could not purchase. Let me break this down. 1) The website specifically stated the items were in the store which is inaccurate. 2) The floor models were out in the store, but there was no product which is misleading. 3) We were not able to purchase any floor models which is frustrating since it made the entire Office Depot production futile. Additionally, the store clerk and manager were not helpful in any way. They looked irritated that we were in there (the store was completely empty). Finally, the best part of this story is this: We called customer service to voice our complaint and the customer service representative offered to ship us the items for free and we would receive them in 7 to 10 business days! Seriously funny! Amazon does the same thing for free in TWO days! So, we spent two thousand dollars at Amazon and wrote an awful review on Google. Office Depot will close down like a lot of other retailers because they are not keeping up with an online presence and they have deplorable customer service. Not to worry for those of you in customer service, though! I've heard Amazon treats their employees well

No Free Demo

I purchased a tablet. I set the screen saver for five minutes, yet it still timed out at default. I also needed to be shown on to copy and paste, as I was having trouble pasting. I go to store to be shown what to do, and they charge $50. Very ridiculous. I will never purchase another thing at office depot. My next purchase was going to be a computer. They lost that sale.
