Arrest these fraudsters!
There isn't a 0 star, otherwise would give them only that. This company is a total fraud.
You will not get your chair at least for a month. When you get it, it will be broken. Talk to them to return it, and they will ask you to send photos as evidence. They take their own time in acknowledging your return merchandise.
The issue is they don't seem to issue any refund though they send a PayPal screenshot that they had issued a refund.
The catch is one can't dispute this transaction via the credit card company if the transaction is more than 45-60 days old. So you just lost all your money without receiving anything in return or with a product that is useless.
This company should be banned and the ownsers should be put behind bars for their fraudulent practices.

Problem with Human Scale Chair I purchased from OC@W
In May 2020 I purchased a Humanscale Freedom Chair, Order #28115 from Office Chair at Work. In the last few months the plastic/fake leather on both arms has started cracking.
I have a video to show you if you want it. I am not over-weight and I don't put a lot of pressure on the arms when working. Am I correct in understanding that the 12-year full warranty is still in effect? If so, how do I get replacement arms?

NOTE: I have tried multiple times to contact your customer service but I get nothing but the auto-response (we will contact you in 24 hours).
I'm now resorting to leaving scathing reviews of your business in hopes that someone might step up and do their job. It's very frustrating.
Preferred solution: Replacement arm rests as the plastic on both is cracked and coming apart

Got a nineteen year old used chair
Ordered two chairs. First was delivered today.
Box is not what a new chair comes in. Opened box, wheels are worn.
Looked at bottom of seat, manufacture date is nineteen years ago. Where on the website does it say they are selling me used furniture.

Dirty and broken chair.
Ordered a chair and it came in dirty, legs broken and used I mean I could not keep it in my clean home I fully expected roaches or bed bugs to climb out of it!!!tried calling their 24 hour number no answer. CALLED the # on my bank receipt its PayPal???
Crazy I DO NOT RECOMMEND this business at all. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM SCAM, SCAM, SCAM

Scammy company
We purchased Herman Miller chairs from this company a few months ago. (It took a month for them to ship the chairs even though the website claimed they were in stock.) Two days ago the seat on one of the chairs broke.
We wrote them requesting a warranty repair or replacement as per the Herman Miller warranty "ALL parts except for consumables, are covered for 6 months" and we have only had the chairs 5 months. Their reply was that "the Herman Miller warranty does not cover this" and "Even if it was covered, these days ordering parts can take many months" and they sent me a link to Amazon telling me to purchase a knock-off replacement part manufactured by FOAMON. I then went to contact the manufacturer, Herman Miller, in hopes of obtaining the warranty repair through them. The first step is to send them the information off the manufacturing label on the bottom of the chair.
Which, it turns out, none of the six chairs we purchased have.
I then checked the list of authorized dealers and realized Office Chair At Work is not one of them. So now I cannot even hope to pursue warranty replacement through the manufacturer, "Because Herman Miller cant guarantee the condition or authenticity of the components used by unauthorized resellers, these products wouldnt be covered by Herman Millers warranty."

I received an empty box
The OfficeChairAtWork company refused to take any action. They denied they shipped an empty box.
They posted trolling emails when I contacted my credit card company. The credit card company issued a full refund and denied the charge from OfficeChairAtWork.
Never buy from this company. They are frauds.
I received an empty box! And when I emailed customer support they were unresponsive and would not issue a refund or send what I had ordered.
I provided a video of the ups driver carrying a box that had been ripped open and re-taped.
They ignored. When I said I was going to contact my cc company they said "If you cancel your payment, we will post everywhere online that your business buys merchandise and then claims it was stolen and cancels payment".

They shipped me a fake chair
1. Filth everywhere on the chair, they are so dirty that 5 complete deep wipes won't clean them.
RUINed my carpet.
2. Comes with no manual and certificates, nothing to prove this is an authentic chair
3. Apparent wear on handles and pivots indicating someone has used it before
4. Delayed shipment for 3 months, when asked, they just issued the shipment with no explanation why it is late.
It looks like they have it all the time just didn't bother to ship it to me.
I am almost 100% sure this chair is either heavily used before or just a fake one.
Buying the chair from this place is the worst decision I've made this year.
Customers, run away from this shop!!!! You have better choices!!!

Bad business and extremely customer unfriendly
They make it almost impossible for you to return, strict and stupid policy.
1. delaying delivery beyond regular shipment, even with products in stock
2. limiting returns to 30 days after purchase
3. *** open the parcel --> no return possible, even if damaged
4. if you cancel before shipment started they modify dispatch times at shipment partner to claim everything is in time, manipulation on tracking data
5. no free return labels
restocking fee of 35% in case of return by yourself

Got ripped off bigtime
We bought a new chair through Office Chair and it took a month to get it. We received it and it was defective, foam deteriated worn looking and dirty.
We returned it in original shipping box within the 30 days we had it. They denied they got it back, we had to prove to them they did through FedEx, after they lied several times regarding receiving it. They wouldnt refund but after some pressure from our credit union they refunded us 65% of what we paid saying it was a restocking fee. They also told us all of their chairs were refurbished.
No where on their website do they say this until you get to page 5 item 20 in their terms of service, small print.
It is mentioned nowhere else. The chair we received was defective and shoudnt be subject to a restocking fee at all.
