Request for part or money resent. As usual they said they would send a tracking number, but no part and no number. I reported them to the New Jersey attorney general, who took the case and will wait on them.

I paid for a 1972 tilt steering wheel for my 1972 Chevy pick up. It never came.

I called them several times and they gave me all kinds of excuses. Its been six weeks and I asked for my money back. Now they just hang up on me. I will never deal with them again.

I don't know how I will get my $300.00 back.

What state are they in so I can call the attorney general? Thanks Al

Scammed out of $550

We ordered parts for our 1956 Ford Customline and dealt with Charlie White. They only took payment by sending front and back of check thru email.

We thought this was a bad way to do business but really needed the parts. Long story short, it has been over 6 weeks and we have nothing. They still answer the phone and continue to make promises to send the parts. We were even told that they had shipped over a week ago and that we would be receiving a tracking number.

NOT!! Of course, we still want the parts but are wondering how they can still be in business if they really are.

I wish I had read the previous review about them before ordering. Long story short they sent the wrong part. Charged me $49 dollars for shipping. I am out $152 and have no recourse.

I have sent numerous E-mails and received no response. There phone picks up and directs you to contact them at a bogus email address.

Also directs you to a page where you can get a RA. The RA button does not exist.

I will be lodging a complaint with the State of California Attorney General's Office.

OEMautopartz.com refuses to allow item to be legitimately returned

I bought a $130 overhead console for my Mazda 6s which it turns out I didn't need after all. I intended to return the part according to the terms of their harsh return policy, which requires the customer to get a return authorization number from them before making the return, all within 30 days.

I called them four times and emailed them four times over the course of a week, and they didn't even respond. They have no intention of honoring their own lousy terms. No way would I send the part back to them at this point, as they would just keep it, having already proved themselves thieves.

I wish I saw this site before purchasing from them. All I can do is warn others.

OEM Auto Partz - Browning Auto Group:BUYER BEWARE! pricing subject to change after checkout!

I purchased 4 items online from OEM Auto Partz, paid for them online and then after the fact, this company changed the price. They then directed me to repurchase the items but my information was not saved in their system and the debit for over $400. was already showing on my debit card. They could have simply eaten the $23.37 difference since it was their error or they could have notified me they would run an additional charge but no! They wanted me to repurchase the entire order and pay another $425.72 and trust them to credit back the first debit. Their website did not save my data so I was supposed to re-enter all my ordering data. It took me 20 minutes the first time I did it. Upon realizing this I instructed them to just, “…run my FN card” for the difference. That’s a reasonable request right? Don’t make me repeat the entire process, just charge me the difference even though the mistake is all yours. It seemed ridiculous for me to authorize another $425.72 charge when they already had a payment of $402.35 but Ted Hawkins who refers to himself as “RC’s Manager” (what is RC?) sends me a condescending email advising me they are sorry that “I don’t understand the process” and advised me to shop elsewhere. He also says he doesn’t appreciate my language towards his employee. I never denigrated his employee, I expressed my complete dissatisfaction with the manner in which OEMAutoPartz.com handled (mishandled) the error their company is entirely responsible for. The customer is not responsible for pricing errors on their site, are they? Once a transaction is completed and payment provided, that should be the end of it. They should say, “Oops, we screwed up. Correct the website price and ship this order, our mistake just cost us $23.37.” But Ted Hawkins apparently believes the customer is always wrong, that OEM Auto Partz’s mistakes should be passed onto the customer, that their error should result in a customer debit total of $828.07 for the purchase of $425.72 worth of car headlights and the customer should be treated with scorn and contempt.

An ethical company would have corrected the price online and honored the transaction because it was their mistake. But Ted Hawkins and OEMAutoPartz.com lack the integrity to accept responsibility and/or correct their mistakes. In a time when word of mouth marketing casts a global shadow, OEM Auto Partz demonstrated their company’s complete inability to care for the customer. Ted Hawkins is clearly not cut out for a position in retail sales and is absolutely clueless when it comes to the process of customer care. He and OEM Auto Partz could care less about the customer. I received multiple emails advising me that my order was summarily cancelled yet the debit is still showing on my card. Do business with OEM Auto Partz are your own peril. They are not reputable and will change the price on you AFTER you pay them. I own two businesses and if I had an employee like Ted Hawkins mistreating my customers in this manner I would terminate him in a nanosecond. There is no excuse for such negligence. RC Manager Ted Hawkins made three huge mistakes. He failed to catch pricing errors on the company’s website, failed to preserve the sale and relationship with a first time customer and failed to recognize both mistakes resulting in creation of this review. I have documents, emails and screen shots of my bank account’s debit to back up every claim contained in this review should anyone wish to see them. The order number was 4244 transacted in January 2014. Ted Hawkins has an email address of thawkins@***.com so I can only guess that OEM Auto Partz & Browning Auto Group and whatever RC are somehow intertwined. How many fictitious business names does this company have? Their invoice shows them at:

I ordered a car part from them and they have zero customer service skills. My wife found the same part at another place for less than half of the price.

I asked if I could return the item, but then they told me it was special ordered. They never mentioned anything about that when I first bought the part. This part cost me over $400 and now I can't return it. I asked what they suggest and they said to return the $160 part and keep the $400 part.

Why would I be ok with losing $240???

They didn't even want to think about helping me. I would never order from these guys again. They are dishonest and they don't know what customer service is.

Even when I called, the guy who answered to phone sounded like i was bothering him.

Way to go. That's a great way to turn customers away.

The only thing crazier than your review is the fact that you paid six bucks for PC to put a yellow line around it and call it premium! Why not just calm down, wait for the refund to process, and then go shop elsewhere?

Most of your review consists of you insulting the employees and telling how you, the big cheese, would handle things. You could have pared that down to a paragraph.

Shipping Overcharge Review

After OEMautopartz.com over charged me for shipping, then sent me the wrong part I inquired about a refund/return. They told me they could not return my item because I didn't include my VIN # when I purchased the item.

I've complained that it was their error regardless and they should return the item for full refund.

Have yet to hear back. Please avoid this vendor at all costs.
