Good morning
I have a certificate which expires November 30 Th 2023, and I just noted that registrations are not accepted within 60 days of the program expiry date
I am a 77 years old man.
I received this beautiful gift certificate 2 years ago and I was looking forward to enjoy some little vacations with my wife next week in a resort in Orlando. And it happens that finally, 3 days ago, when I found myself in conditions to travel I decided to register the certificate.
Im gently asking if you could please make an exception to this policy and allow me to register it.
And I also ask you if this request should go to another person or department, please send it to the right ones.
I m thanking you so much in advance
Best regards,
Ladislau P Brett

Verified Reviewer | Honolulu, HawaiiScammed into sitting through Hilton timeshare sales pitch
My wife and I were staying at the Twin Fin Hotel (formerly the Aston Waikiki Beach Hotel). We went to the excursion desk to book a whale watch tour.
The sales clerk asked us if we wanted to get a free 7-day stay at a Hilton resort if we sat through a 2-hour promotional pitch to buy a Hilton resort timeshare. She definitely said we would get a "free" 7-day stay at Hilton. We signed up for the sales pitch that was held nearby at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort. The high pressure sales pitch lasted 3 hours.
They used 3 people to try to get money from us. At the end, after saying NO we will not give you any money at least ten times, we were given a brochure from Odenza Marketing Group for "up to 7 nights of resort accommodations." There is nothing free about it. You have to pay $100 just to find out more about it. It will supposedly be applied to an undefined "travel agency booking fee." The fine print says you have to pay a resort booking fee of $39.99 per night, plus an undefined Odenza service fee, plus resort fees, taxes, miscellaneous expenses, and the kicker, "the recipient is responsible to pay for all expenses." It also says Odenza can change the terms and conditions without notice, but that the terms are "final and cannot be changed." In my line of work, this is known as an illusory contract.
There is nothing "free" about this, and we did not pay the initial $100 to get it started. If anyone starts a class action suit, let me know.
- Bait and switch
- Complete scam
- No transparency
Preferred solution: An actual free 7-day resort vacation
User's recommendation: Do not waste your time at the Hilton timeshare seminar
Received 3 night offer
So my sister & I received this 3 night offer certificate after doing a timeshare presentation. We paid the $79 for the booking fee that is required with the travel agent - we were offered to upgrade our trip to 7 days/7 nights for an extra $100 - so now that is $179 in fees.
Fast forward we booked a 7 day stay in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. The resort was very beautiful but required an additional $150 in resort fees & about - so now that's $320 in booking and resort fees.
Overall for 2 people to stay in a 4.5 star resort for $320 for 7 days WAS worth it.
I enjoyed my stay but I can understand why people would be annoyed with having to pay so many hidden fees. Puerto Vallarta was very beautiful and I hope to return someday - odenza needs better marketing teams to explain hidden fees but I thoroughly enjoyed the resort and a new state in Mexico.

Verified ReviewerBs marketing scam
You go to a presentation for Holiday vacations and they want you to buy a $12,000 vacation package and if you don't, they give you this shifty certificate with odenza. Then you send it in to register and odenza sends you a code.
You have no idea who this company is and their website has no information whatsoever with no names of resorts or locations...and they ask you to send $100 deposit before you can even see any locations to book. No thanks...the real catch is that holiday vacations tells you that you are getting a free 7 day vacation. Odenza wants $100 up front and then says you must pay $279 booking fee after the $100. Yeah right.
They have the worst reviews to begin with.
Then I searched the internet and they bribe sales companies to pitch these giveaways for pennies on the dollar. People would not sit through timeshare presentations for this crap I assure you.
Preferred solution: my time was wasted and disrespected by the dishonest business practices between odenza and Holiday vacations of Orlando they failed to mention I would be handed off to a zero star company with tons of pissed off customers
User's recommendation: Odenza is garbage

Travel Agencies Expert Talks
People need a heads up
I was offered a 'free' roundtrip airfare plus 4 nights at a minimum 4 star resort for two people. I was sucked in to a 60 min presentation, mostly about timeshares.
After passing on the timeshare/platform, I got a certificate. The certificate said to go to www.rewardsandincentives.com to redeem This site 'registers' my vacation to the tune of $50, nonrefundable. Then I'm led to Odenza.com. They want another $400(for taxes, allegedly) to be assigned a travel agent, who is the only person who can discuss extras.
I live in Orange County CA, and "nominated" departure airports didn't include any airports in LA or Orange County. San Diego was the nearest departure airport. I called to verify just that, and the customer service nicely stated I would have to pay extra to fly out of Orange County Airport. OF COURSE, she didn't know the extra amount, and to find out I would have to send another $400, allegedly refundable, and they would assign me a travel agent, who will call me later.
Based on other reviews, I will pass on this offer, and am embarrassed to have dragged my wife to a silly timeshare presentation. I got a feeling this offer isn't anything close to 'free'.
Plus, I'm out $50. Two nights sounds good, but does anyone really want just 2 nights?
User's recommendation: Go in with eyes open, really wide open.
Date too far off my reqire vacation date
Fraudulent "free trip" offer

I got same certificate at waikiki
So you blame the company that's redeeming the certificate when it clearly states you need to pay the fees. Instead of Hilton that told you it was free. Seems legit.
