Bad Experience at the Groton, Ct Store Ocean State Job Lot

I am transgender and while I was shopping at the store I needed to use their restroom, I asked associate Tina if there were facilities to accommodate me, associate Tina snickered and smiled while laughing at me told me that we don't have facilities for your kind, I was appalled, associate Tina should be terminated, I already started proceeding with legal action if associate Tina is not terminated

User's recommendation: Don't go to the Groton CT store, you will be humiliated.

Screwing the public

I've been to many job lots, and they all do the same thing you may want to look at your slip. The one in Wakefield Rhode Island takes the cake and the ice cream. They do not tell you they assume that you already know. It is about donating the 2% of what you buy to the employees. I think it is a great idea. But at least remind the customers- how many people thousands may not know. This has happened five times at different job lots. And one we visited twice. OK here we go the cashier- before she rang me up I said that I do not want to donate the 2%. Just to see what she would do. I left the store look at my receipt she didn't just charge me 2% she charged me 10% after I stated I did not want to donate the 2%. She probably said to herself I'm gonna screw this guy. The lady before me she screwed her 20%. Then I had to go in the line for returns which I had to wait 7 to 10 minutes. I explain to the young cashier it is just the 2% it's not telling the public. Its great that you receive an extra 2% plus your two dollars more an hour. If I told the cashier that she could have a large coffee for a penny she would probably say yes right. But before I would give her the coffee I would say its $3.50 how would she like it. Oh, I'm sorry we play the notice three times a-day on the loudspeaker. Oh I did not hear it oh well. We posted the signs everywhere like the one at the counter that's taped so low you cannot see it because its all crinkly.

User's recommendation: Shut your slip.
