I have contacted the company using their online form, but have not had any response.
I have followed the online instructions, but get stalled at one point.
OBDLink xx does not connect with 2012 X5
I just bought the OBDlink cx from Amazon. Downloaded the OBDLink app to my iPhone .
Plugged in the OBD adapter to 2012 X5 .
Turned on my Bluetooth , turned ignition On ( tried no engine start and engine start option.
The OBDlink adapter simply does not connect with the OBDlink app. Says
connection failed.
When I open the OBDlink app , it says this app can only work with OBDlink MX.
I am very dissapointed.

Trying to get this to activate my doors and windows on my vehicles for troubleshooting. I have a 2012 Cadillac CTS. And a 2005 Dodge pick up.

Classic case of overselling and underperforming.
Your literature states LX provides everything MX+ does except proprietary chevy and ford values. Once I received LX I found that it doesn't provide transmission temp.
for tundra. How difficult is that???Customer service says you must have MX+ so I purchase one. When setting up the system advises me I must purchase supplemental data which I do and now I'm really pissed... I'm trying to get out of town on a vacation and instead of answers OBDLink is delaying me and adding complications...
I spent many hours that I could not afford to spend trying to simply read a trans. temp. No help from customer service despite reaching out to them repeatedly.
I'm returning both units, and am done with OBD Link. Pathetic performance..
