Oak Ridge Nissan Reviews

Negative experience
I bought my first car here in December 2018 and totaled it in December 2019. I even bought my new car here in March 2020. The 2019 car was suppose to be paid off by Oak Ridge Nissan when I sent them the letter from gap on March 18, 2020. It is now May and I get a call from a collections company saying my car was never paid off and now its on my credit and Im collections. I try to go to Oak Ridge Nissan on Saturday to get this fixed and was told to come back Monday. I returned on Monday to sit in the lobby for over 45 minutes because no one was available to help me. Then I was told that they never received the information to cut the check until May 8th. This was a total lie because I have the email I sent them on March 18th. Thanks for nothing Oak Ridge Nissan.

I, Ron Pratt worked with the above customer while trying to come to an agreement on a vehicle. I tried several nice says to tell him that because of his credit he could not purchase the vehicle he wanted due to a low becon score. I'm sorry he feels poorly about us at Oak Ridge Nissan. I can only do and we can only do what a customers credit will allow us to do. As for going to Toyota or Honda I assure you they will not be able to finance the type of money this customer was demanding. My voice was never above normal level and I was the third salesman who attempted to help this customer. Sincerely, Ron Pratt

Oak Ridge Nissan - Car Purchase Review from Norwood, North Carolina
Do not deal with Ron Pratt at Oakridge Nissan he is a *** kept trying to force me into signing a paper saying I would buy the vehicle from him and it was not even the vehicle I wanted I refused to sign it so he starts raising his voice asking me if I was there to buy a vehicle or nothe is by far the worst and rudest salesman I have ever dealt with because of him I refused to go back to Oakridge Nissan I'm going to buy a Toyota now thank you Ron Pratt

Poor customer service

Bought lemon from them, now forcing a new car sale
DO NOT BUY OR HAVE SERVICE DONE AT OAK RIDGE NISSAN! Purchased new 2012 Nissan Versa SL in Aug 2011 from Oak Ridge Nissan, and have had 3 different transmission leaks. The first one was 3 months after I purchased the car and they kept it for a month before finally replacing the entire transmission. This time I was sent home with it leaking so they could contact tech support. Over 2 weeks later they had me bring it back to fix, only to tell me that I would need to come back again after 500 miles before they could fix it. I decided it was time to trade this headache, so I purchased a new car (bigger headache). I found out that they lied about my income to at least 2 different lenders trying to get my loan approved and still don't have it approved. The only reason I caught on to their lies is because they sent an application to my bank, not knowing it was mine, and my bank called to verify my income. The dealership had nearly doubled my income on the application to my bank. They have harassed me to sign new papers, did not give me copies of all the paper I signed, including the "supplement to contract" until I demanded it, refuse to take their car back and give me back my trade in, and actually have my trade in listed for sale on their website (even though they can NOT get the title because there is a lien on it from the finance company). Don't buy from them, you may be buying my lemon with no title. I know if they have pulled this on me, they have pulled it on other people. BUYER BEWARE!!!!

They sold me a lemon and didn't honor the contract
I purchased a brand new 2004 nissan frontier from newton nissan and then about a year later newton sold out to oak ridge nissan. I purchased the extended warranty with my truck under the impression i didn't have to pay for out of pocket expenses. well let me tell you its been a nightmare! The first complaint was the truck knocking and smoking when you first start it up and the brake failure. I contacted newton nissan and miss penny bunch sweet said this was normal for a brand new truck so without nissan looking at it they had already dinagosed the problem so it didnt get to the service department east tennessee was the first to honor the warranty they kept the truck for three days and didn't actually fix everything on the list would you like to purchase a brand new truck with bars leak being put in the radiator the transmission going out before 60,000 miles the electrical wiring was never fixed its a fire hazzard and you would think after financing a truck for 28,000.00 you would not have to purchase new tires and front end was out of alignment new brakes and rotors on 60,000 miles and firestone done the tune up so nissan really never honored their warranty for 125,00 miles and i am very one pissed customer and i also have a niece who purchase a 2004nniisan sentra they recalled it back because they sold her the wrong car and yet her transmission came out also that was out of pocket expenses for her as well oak ridge nissan threatened me and told me i had better back off. i am not backing off this has been going since 2004 to present what would you do i am very pissed off and that is a kind way to put it

Really? With his daughter? That's low.
I would not buy a car from someone who cannot even give a straight answer, this man seems to be a car salesman for sure doing anything to sale a car !!!
Uh... I'm confused as well.
First I thought it was the customer but now I don't know. I understand how it feels to get a *** customer but this isn't professional conduct here. If you are doing all that you can do then you can simply direct the customer to another car dealer if you feel that they can be helped. Even if you can't, you don't do this.
If that is the customer, I find it weird how you would have a picture of the customer unless you know this guy and was the one taking that picture in what is clearly in a house.
Not a car dealership. If somebody that I don't know had a picture of me I might find it a little disturbing.
The photo is of me, Ron Pratt and I am a very honest and professional man. I am deeply disturbed by this comment which is grossly untrue and blatantly dishonest.
Ron Pratt
This is confusing. You say the above man was the customer but now say it's you.
Either way, trying to argue your case here is bad business. Customers air dirty laundry here, not businesses.
That is a picture of the customer. And if the consumer is going to say something wrong or illegitimate about them company can defend itself.
Can, yes. Just not here.
It's unprofessional.
Now that you mention it, he does say that the photo is the customer. That makes it worse.
This is a poor place to hash out differences. If you are the consumer, that's one thing but if you are the business it doesn't look good.
And putting a picture of yourself being gentle with a child doesn't make you look honorable - it makes you look desperate. Handle things professionally and discreetly and you can hold your head up.
This is me... You can call me if you like at 865-804-**** anytime.
Ron Pratt
Ron... you just did more damage to your Nissan dealership than any car dealer terrorist.
Settle with the customer and move on. Personally, I don't like the brand, but if I wanted to buy a Nissan, I would not buy it from your dealership.
Go to business school, learn negotiation and good business practice.
You might find something interesting.
