Unacceptable petscan report

AI Highlights
  • Dissatisfied with the May 15 PET report; lacks detail on lungs and bones.
  • Pancreas cyst 5 mm not mentioned; request review by another radiologist.

I had a petscan on May 15th at 360 Bard Avenue, Staten Island. The next day, I received a report, and am unsatisfied with its contents.

I have had multiple petscans since my initial diagnosis of lung cancer in 2019. Each report provided me with information regarding my lungs, kidney, liver, pancreas, aderenals, bones, etc. This one said nothing about these organs.

It was a flimsy one page summary and failed to provide even the slightest details regarding my lungs and bones, which were my main areas of concern. Also, I am watching a 5 mm cyst on my pancreas, yet nothing was mentioned.

I am completely dissatisfied with this report, and am requesting that the scan be reviewed by another radiologist for a more complete report.
