You guys are full of ***

Do not believe these people! All of these posts are by competitors of Nuvio.

Ask any VOIP expert out there, Every SMB VOIP provider is chasing Nuvio. This is unfair. I called Nuvio to inquire about their services and mentioned this website. They instantly offered to send me a demo phone to try out free of charge.

I got it that day and after three days purchased the Nuvioflex for my office of 20 employees.

All of them love nuvio. You guys are all jokers.

this thing wants 100 words in my post, la la la la la la la

I must agree - NUVIO is running some type of front for a SCAM business. They grab your Credit Card information and then provide terrible quality VOIP Phone Service.

They refuse to refund any money paid which triggers a dispute.

I have contacted the Consumer Affairs department in my state. I will be filing a small claims lawsuit against NUVIO to collect my lost money immediately.

NUVIO is a Criminal Enterprise that is being investigated by the States Attorney Generals Offices in various states for Consumer Fraud and mis-use of Consumer Credit Cards.

The owner of NUVIO is a "smart-***" lawyer who thinks he can out-play the Federal and State Laws by hiding behind a phony contract. HE IS AN *** - NO ONE CAN WRITE A CONTRACT OUTSIDE THE LAWS OF THE STATE AND FEDERAL AGENCIES.

The owner of NUVIO was reported to the State Legal Bars of Kansas and California for operating a Criminal Enterprise.

STAY AWAY FROM NUVIO - at all costs. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED !!!

Nuvio will not allow us to port our numbers away

My small business has been a Nuvio customer for a while. We decided to switch VOIP providers the second time a phone died with the same issue. (The phone works fine, but the configuration file it pulls from the Nuvio servers is either missing or corrupted.) We have been trying, unsuccessfully, to port our phone numbers to the new provider for several months. In the mean time, another phone went down. We now have 1 working phone and 2 dead ones.

Our porting requests are continually rejected by Nuvio. After several attempts, I arranged a conference call between the porting department at our new VOIP provider and Nuvio customer service. Nuvio claimed to know nothing about the ports, and to not know how the numbers were registered. It is clear that Nuvio either cannot or will not help us. Why should they? They are losing a customer.

We can't cancel the service on the dead phones because those phone numbers are our customers' main contact points. We are able to forward the Nuvio lines using their web interface, so it's not a catastrophe for us, but we are paying double for phone service until we can wrest the numbers away from Nuvio.

I am now attempting to port the numbers to AT&T, in the hope that they are more capable than our new VOIP provider at the arcane porting process.

Lesson learned: from now on I'll be giving out my Google voice number to clients.

Nuvio is the worst provider, that is correct, they will not allow you to port out even though legally they have to. Even if you do cancel, they will continue to bill you for service and will not credit you.

you will be forced to do a charge back with your cc company. They are *** artists.

Do not use this company. They maybe have 5 employees.

Nuvio Corp. bad service and overbilled

Don't let the smooth taste full you. Low cost phones over internet = poor service, many dropped calls, and down time due to Nuvio updates and short comings. Very frustrating trying to run a business with these interruptions. It seems alot of the independent reps that were selling Nuvio services have now switched to other providers.

Nuvio wants a credit card so they can automatically bill you each month. Rarely do they want to credit you for "down time" that experience throughout a given month. They mainly try to blame your internet provider, or your equipment. I had said provider out to my location consistently testing everything and all tests would check out ok.

My sales rep stopped selling Nuvio services and switched me to another provider. He called Nuvio and had the numbers ported to new provider and cancelled my account with Nuvio. Nuvio billed me for 6 additional months on my credit card. Even though Nuvio provided nothing in those 6 months. I was told by Nuvio that it had to be a written statement to close the account. Funny thing is my sales rep had Nuvio on a speaker phone in my office and he confirmed with Nuvio that the account was closed.

Very poor product and very poor customer service. My advice is to stay as far away from Nuvio as possible. Unethical company at best with a poor product.

Yes, the service is poor. But most disconcerting is Nuvio gets your credit (debit) card and continues to charge 6 months after cancellation.

And the cancellation process should be criminal. Weeks after terminating the service, Nuvio notified me that cancellation would only be allowed if a certified letter were provided. After sending the certified letter, Nuvio continued to bill my debit card. A merchant dispute was rejected because Nuvio refused to provide information to my bank.

Upon a second request to stop charging the account, Nuvio insisted on a tracking number for the certified letter, months after acknowledging the letter and the cancellation. And yet they still continued to debit my account.

These guys are crooks. Avoid unless you like filling lawsuits in small claims court.

The owner Jason is a slime-ball he wrote some sneaky contracts that basically screwed us out of huge commissions that we earned. ANY RESELLERS, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY SEEK ANOTHER PROVIDER.

I think most people looking for Nuvio complaints have complaints against Nuvio. How many people are going to go searching for Nuvio complaints that don't have a complaint.

Obviously this is just spin by Nuvio minions.

Nuvio sucks. They even own the domain nuviosucks.com

Check it out with a whois search.

Well I can say Nuvio is the WORSE phone service I have ever had. Wanting me to do 99.9% of their work. The agent I had was there Johnny On The Spot and took care of any problems.

I can tell you now Nuvio comes up with 1958**** excuses why dead air and more. The fact seems that they just can't be reliable.

Funny part is when our guy was no longer part of them we get a call and get offered 25% off our bill if we stay a year. To loose THOUSANDS of DOLLARS for 25% I feel they should just have given agent 25% more and kept him and would have been a win / win.

Any way STAY AWAY FROM NUVIO or you will be SORRY for sure.

Just wait until you try to cancel the service. That's when their customer service really shines.

The idea that you need a credit card to bill is kinda ridiculous but I now see why they do that. If 1 out of every 5 people miss the fact that they billed them they make pure profit on a service they don't provide. Their business practices are unethical at best.

They want to say that they only have 12 complaints on the BBB but how many of us have filed? Not sure that's the best measurement for customer satifaction.

We have been using Nuvio for 5 of our small office locations now for over 3 years. I will admit there has been a few outages where the phones were down, but we also had that with One Communications before we made the switch.

Overall the features have been a huge money saver for us between office. We were faced with buying 5 phone systems or go Voip, the Nuvio solution has certainly proven to be a great choice for us. Our original sales guy is no longer to be found (I think he moved) but Nuvio was able to get us in contact with another gentleman that has always been there for us. Customer service is less than desired sometimes, but end results always seem to be taken care of.

Like I said its not perfect, but neither was our services with One Comm, at least with Nuvio we are saving a lot of money each month, all offices are connected together, and we have the features we needed and did not have to buy small phones systems for each office. I would strongly suggest Voip and suggest Nuvio and their product.

Services would get a A, customer care a B- ,ease of use A+, stability A, overall rating I woudl give them a B+ maybe an A. Keep in mind I am a tough grader.

I had nothing but problems with Nuvio, they are unethical and will not correct problems or even call you back when a problem is reported. I would tell everyone to stay away.

Keeping in mind that I did not want to leave NUVIO they gave me no choice. I no longer had a need for the Business PBX and when I inquired about changing the service I was told that I had their cheapest plan available.

I had already looked at other carriers and got referrals with a cost of 50% less. However, I still wanted to stay with Nuvio since my service was good.

I attempted to cancel my service with Nuvio 10 days prior to my next month of service. I was told that a phone call would not work and I would need to send a letter with receipt confirmation, which I did with the letter being received on the 24th day or 6 days prior to my next month of service. However I was still billed. When inquiring I got a response that their billing dept required a 30 day notice as stated in their terms of service.

While, they may be legally correct I believe that this a unethical practice to grab more money and here is why: When establishing a VOIP and porting a number you need to wait 3, 4 weeks or longer to get the number ported. Since you don't know when the number will be ported until a few days before it is ported just HOW CAN SOMEONE SEND THEM A LETTER WITH A CONFIRMATION RECEIPT 30 DAYS PRIOR TO CANCELLING UNTIL THE NUMBER IS PORTED????????

Once the number is ported to the new VOIP Carrier no more calls are being made through the old VOIP, in this case NUVIO. Nuvio then collects a months fee without providing any type of service in return.

When I asked that the give me an understanding on what the difficulties are and how involved the process is that takes 30 days I got no answer. 6 Days is certainly enough time to read a letter, contact their billing department and process the request.

While Nuvio's terms and conditions do state the 30 days this is very poor business practice. From one business to another ths practice is very poor business ethics.
