Nutmeg Utility products & Nelson Algarin SCAM ARTIST
- - Bought a used truck from Nelson Algarin; it leaked diesel from the coolant tank.
- - Shops said it needs $1200 repair; Nelson refused to fix.
I purchased a used vehicle from Nelson Algarin at Nutmeg Utility Products, it was a relatively cheap vehicle and needed some cosmetic attention as well as some minor mechanical repairs however as per Nelson the vehicle was safe, sound, always taken care of and "ready to work and make money". Within the first 20 minutes of driving, the truck started pouring diesel fuel from the coolant tank, took it to three different shops and they all said it needs a $1200 repair and that it had been like this for some time and the previous owner had to have known about it, they also informed me that this issue would only surface when the truck warmed up and every time I test drove it, it had no fuel and I was told by Nelson to just go around the block.
Nelson refused to do anything to rectify the issue and had his police officer buddy call and try to scare me. Steer clear from Nelson Algarin and Nutmeg Utility Products.
