My experience with Nurabeam.com has been deeply troubling.
I made a one-time purchase of a red light therapy device. During checkout, I carefully ensured that I was not enrolling in any subscription or recurring billing program.
Approximately one month after receiving the product, my credit card was charged $499.99 for what the company labeled as a subscription.
I did not knowingly enroll in any subscription and did not provide affirmative consent for recurring billing.
When I disputed the charge, I was told the subscription had been cancelled and that I must wait 1014 days for a refund. Even more concerning, I was pressured to remove my public review while the unauthorized charge was still pending.
After this incident, I reviewed public comment sections on Facebook and observed numerous individuals reporting similar billing concerns unexpected subscription charges, multiple repeat charges, and difficulty obtaining refunds.
The volume and similarity of these complaints is alarming.
A company should not process a nearly $500 recurring charge without clear, explicit consumer consent. Nor should refunds be influenced by whether a customer removes a review.
Consumers should exercise extreme caution and closely monitor their credit card statements if purchasing from this company.
I expect a full refund and written confirmation that my payment information has been permanently removed from their system.

There was an unauthorized charge taken from my account for the amount of $199 this morning at around 1:00 a.m. I need you guys to please refund my money because I did not authorize that charge. I bought one item from this company and they didn't say anything about a subscription for $199, which was part of my rent, so I need that back.

Unauthorized charge for $206 and some change
I bought from the company one time no subscription mentioned they just tried to charge my account $206 and some change for something I did not authorize and now I cant get a hold of anybody but the actual product that I bought two months ago is awesome. I give that 10 stars.
