Want to charge Expensive Rental fees for Backup CPAP Machines
My ResMed Airsense 11 CPAP machine started not heating properly where the system was erroring certain nights and not allowing humidifer to kick on and causing discomfort when waking up in the morning on CPAP unit. The CPAP unit was sold by Nunn's Medical Supply located in Syracuse, NY through my doctors office as the supplier of all equipment.
Unit has a 2 year warranty which have not reached yet. Doctors office told me to go back to Nunn's and have them request the unit to be sent back to ResMed and have the diagnostic it. Was told they will send it back but I would get a loaner unit until the old unit came back from manufactuerer. Was told that I would get the first month free on loaner and every month after that, would be charged $100 rental fee.
Why would I pay $100 rental fee for something that is not my fault on defective product still under warranty?
Was told that they are not reinbursed for the units they rent out. That sounds like a you problem, not a me problem.
Maybe negotiate with Manufacturers that they reinburse that to you on all units if this happens?? No, you rather just charge the customers those fees instead, not the Billion dollar company.
