Back customers service

AI Highlights
  • - Charged after removing my stuff before the due date; I'm at -$230, and billing moved from the 6th to the 8th after I cleaned July 2.

You charged me when I took out all my stuff before the due date. I’m at negative 230 on my account.

I don’t have money in my account. You keep moving up the bill; that’s why I took everything out of the storage. Don’t take money that doesn’t belong to you.

I cleaned out the storage on July 2, and my payment is always charged on the 6th, and now you charge me on the 8th. That’s ***

Management harrassing me

AI Highlights
  • - Terminated from Self-Secure Storage after break-ins.
  • - Last name entered wrongly and termination risk.
  • - Falsified statements; store 0876 closes at 10 PM.

Yes, I've been having an ongoing issue with self-secure storage in Tulsa, OK. I had rented from them once before, and they terminated my lease due to the facts of break-ins that had nothing to do with me.

It so happened on my row. I'm clueless about it. But for her to terminate me for something I had nothing to do with and put words in my mouth and state falsified actions upon me! I feel some type of way—'defamation of character.' Also, I had rented another storage, and my name, well, my last name got put in wrongly, so she was going to terminate me for that after I had already submitted a change for it.

I feel discriminated against, humiliated, and embarrassed by her actions. And another thing, they close at 10; I was a few minutes over, but they are letting people stay 24 hours. WTF? But she's harassing me over minutes.

She stated that I put up stuffed animals in the storage, so from there on down, those were the ones to break into! F#$$%%% Ridiculous. How absurd for her to even come at me with falsified statements and then had four people sign a statement. This lady has lost her rabbit-ass mind.

I just know something needs to be done, and she is very unprofessional. 0876 store.

Loss:
$2400
Pros:
  • Convenient
Cons:
  • Bad service and rudeness

Preferred solution: Some RESPECT!

You need to learn what defamation of character is and if you’re going to claim discrimination, provide FACTS.

Manager and Regional Manager refuses to return my calls

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
AI Highlights
  • - Customer seeks regional manager about Fayetteville, GA rental units for over a year.
  • - Emails and calls ignored; Williams is out until October.
Updated by user Jan 22, 2026

Not well since the email I sent went directly to the person I'm having difficulty with! Don't use this because it doesn't get to superiors that need to know how things are being handled.

Original review Jan 22, 2026
Been trying to speak with someone regarding the lack of transparency as a customer. I've have been requesting for over a year, to speak with the Regional Manager or higher, regarding the units I have at the Fayetteville, Georgia, rental units.
I've been ignored with numerous emails and phone calls without any response.

I called Eric Williams today and
once again his voicemail states he's out of the office until October! Why can't I speak with someone else. He states he'll return calls as he sees fit.

This hasn't happened!
There is questionable practices in renting a storage unit with your local manager. I've tried to get in touch with
Eric many times without a response.
Why is it company practice to lie and mislead a customer because that's exactly what happened to me.
Please contact e ASAP at 678-836-****.
Thank you,
Charlotte Laughon

If you truly felt you were forced to sign, you needed to walk away and not do so.

Stolen Belongings

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
AI Highlights
  • - I got a move-out receipt I didnt request.
  • - Storage unit 10x10x15 is empty; belongings gone.
  • - Management and corporate gave no answers.

I received a move-out receipt from this company here in Knoxville, Tennessee. I never requested to move out, and now all of my belongings are gone from a storage unit I rented from them, and no one seems to know what happened.

I talked to facility management, who couldn't give me any information. I called the Corporate office and got the runaround, but there are still no answers. My storage unit was a 10x10x15 and was almost full. I got there this morning and everything was gone.

Costly items were in there.

To top it all off. I went through two rent increases within a year of renting from this company.
