I booked a room at the Nova Star for Aug 22, 2023and 23,.2023

But i showed up and got my room at 4:40pm. I got in my room the cable tv didnt work, and no wifi.

Both are thongs listed as part of purchase of the room on the wedsite.

I called the front desk and told them of my issue at 4:49pm, at 5:08pm no one had arrive. So again i called. The lady said the on call person was on there way. At no time prior did she explain i was waiting for someone to come from home, that no one was on premises.

I proceeded to wait another 45 mins no one showed up. Altogether i've been waiting one hour. But this time i called the same lady answered and now changed her story.

She proceeded to tell me the on call person was'nt answering there phone after 45 mins before that her exact words were someones on there way.

She told me that she was at the lake lawn motel and was on her way to help me this was 5:43pm. 20 mins later she had not shown up.

The lake lawn motel is less than 1km from the nova star. I called again a man picked up this time. I told him my story and that i packed up my stuff and no longer would be staying at there hotel and would like money back for both bookings Aug 22 and Aug 23. The customer service was lousy and i can not tolerate being lied too.

While on the phone the woman showed up but i did not speak to her. She showed up at 6:15pm when i had called originally at 4:40pm. The man in the phone said is name was Dat Tran and he said i would get refunded the money through expedia. I am completely unsatisfied.

Making a person wait 1.5 hours for someone to come fix a tv and wifi that's a paying customer is bad enough. But you make me wait all while lying to me is down right disrespectful and unacceptable.

And even after the woman came to the room at no point did she attempt to contact me or communicate anything was fixed or not. These people simply don't care.

I tired to post my video of the cable not working. But it's to big.

I tried unplugging it and plugging it back in.

I looked for buttons on the tv. The lady said there should be a second remote , I looked in every drawer there wasn't anything.
