How the ER treated my 95-year-old father

My father was admitted to the ER because he showed signs of delirium. While visiting, he asked me to get him a nurse to help him to urinate in a plastic container. When I passed on his request to the two nurses right outside his room, they said just let him *** in the bed and we will clean it up later. They left my father lying in his own urine for 45 mins. to an hour before anyone claim to clean the bed up. This seems to me not only humiliating but inhumane bevavior. When I tried to call the nurse in charge, she turned out to be unreachable.

User's recommendation: Bring your own bed pan.
