Multiple misdiagnoses I almost died.

I was misdiagnosed at the Rogers clinic, in Urgent Care and regular Doctor visits 5 times with asthma. I kept going back in because, I severely could not breath and the asthma inhalers were not working.

Three of the visits were within 15 days before, being rushed to the hospital and admitted into the ICU for an Acute Saddle Pulmonary Embolism (blood clots in my lungs suffocating me). The right medication that I needed to be on was blood thinners not asthma inhalers. The Doctors and nurses at the hospital told me if I would have waited 2-3 more days it would have been fatal. It has been a few weeks since I was released from the hospital, and I have not needed an inhaler once, so I defiantly do not have asthma.

After everything I went through, I sent Northwest Family Physicians and the two Doctors that misdiagnosed me a letter. In the letter, I explained what I had learnt about my diagnoses and gave them suggestions on how to not let this type of misdiagnoses happen again. I also asked them for an apology and that I would like to see the clinic taking steps to rule-out possible fatal illnesses, so hopefully the next patent(s) that comes to their clinic with illness like mine do not experience what I had to experience. I waited and just received a very defensive impersonal letter from the clinic where they tried not admitting guilt.

I was more than disappointed with their response to my situation, and could not believe that the two Doctors did not respond back to my letter at all, I feel that is very unprofessional of them.

I have been a patient at this clinic for 18 years, and now do not trust my familys health to them. They absolutely did not provide me with Good Health Care!!!

Northwest Family Physicians Customer Care Review

Waited in urgent care for 1.5 hours than finally got called back the nurse checked my child's symptoms and than said we had 3 more patients ahead of us my family has been coming here for years and this place has gone downhill so much in the last 5 years. I watched over 10 potential patients walk out saying the would rather go wait at the hospital and pay the expense and get seen

Poor service

Was at the Crystal NWPA off county 81 and it was a terrible visit. Do not ever ever ever get your blood drawn there, the lab tech stabbed me with the needle so hard she hit a nerve and I still have trouble to this day.

The pain was so bad I wanted to punch her in the face. No one should ever have to go through what I did on that day back in Nov.

2014 That clinic should be investigated for medical mistakes as I now know others who have had the same problem with the Crystal office. STAY AWAY YOU WILL REGRET IT IF YOU GO THERE BEWARE YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Their lab staff is mostly hired off the street with little or no formal education or certification. They also have phlebotomy students practicing on patients.

PAINFUL COLONOSCOPY

The colonoscopy I had earlier this year was the most painful medical procedure I have ever endured. I don’t know if anesthetic was withheld to cut costs, but I told the assistant and doctor twice that it was very painful and all I got was a pat on the shoulder telling me it would only last a little longer and to try to breathe deeply.

I was in such pain that I could hardly inhale and was crying during the procedure. Allowing this extreme discomfort is unconscionable.

When what little anesthetic I had received wore off the next morning, I was very angry.

Northwest Family Physicians

Be careful about this place if you are given supplies or any kind of medication (even fever medicine). After the doctor examination, they may give you supplies or medicine.

They will not disclose much information to you. You will think it is a sample but you will get charged big time. I contacted the Dr. office and billing department.

Everyone in the billing department will send me to Brenda (hospital administrator) and she will not answer or reply to voice mails.

They got a very good set up going to make money. They charge 3-4 times to over the counter supplies.

How do you think they could afford a brand new building. Of course you are being taken advantage of.

Call Chanel 9. They would be interested.
