They cancelled order due to increase in shipping costs
- Order canceled after payment; shipping costs were higher.
- No call to discuss; error on their part; I won't buy again from Northside.
Lo and Behold! I received an email from this company today advising that I had requested cancellation of the order.
I sent back an email telling this that was an outright lie!
They cancelled due to the shipping being higher than they had expected. What a ridiculous way to run a company!!
Ordered a grill, on their website, and paid according to price and shipping. A few days later I received an order cancellation notice.
I called them and asked why the order was cancelled. I was advised that the shipping costs were more than they charged me. First, why didn't they call and discuss this with me? Second, as I explained to them, the error was on their part, and they should have honored the sale.
I definitely will not do business with these people again.
I feel they cannot be trusted to honor what they advertise. No, I do not recommend Northside Material Brokers in Atlanta, GA.
