- Alleges Alex Sylvester lacks a builder's license; American Steel builds buildings, he collects a commission, ghosts customers, and deletes reviews.
Do not trust Alex Sylvester with your building. He doesn't even have a builder's license and does not build these buildings.
He collects commission checks and American Steel builds these buildings. As soon as he collects his commission check (he calls it a down payment so beware), he will ghost you and you will never see your money again. RUN. Go to anyone else other than Alex Sylvester.
He also deletes his poor Facebook reviews which is why he has a perfect 5-star rating on Facebook. DO NOT trust him.
He will lie to your face and tell lie after lie to anyone and everyone. He only wants that initial commission check and from there will ghost you and disappear.

- Paid 13,101.75 for a garage and addition.
- Dan W, the subcontractor, refused to build.
- Refund was mailed minus 3,000 restocking.
- Garage permit paperwork incomplete.
On 4-24-2024 I gave NMI outdoor sales a down payment for a garage and for an addition to our home totaling 13,101.75, the owner Alex Sylvester has a subcontractor, Dan W that builds for him. he refuses to do our addition because we didn't hire him to do the cement so we asked for our money back, Alex said he mailed it last week less 3000 for restocking fee, but that would be even before the subcontractor refused to build our addition, we explained we didn't cancel his contractor did, but he refuses to give our full deposit back, also the metal garage we bought from him does not qualify for a building permit because he refuses to give the codes inspector the proper paperwork. Alex has several complaints of doing the same thing and not returning calls the second he gets your money he is as good as gone.
