Northeastern Movers lost an entire crate of my belongings (100 boxes worth over $40,000)!
Northeastern Movers lost an entire crate of my belongings (100 of 130 boxes, worth over $40,000) in a move from NYC to MN last year!! Can you even imagine receiving the news that ¾ of your valuables, heirlooms, and memorabilia--including those of your recently deceased husband as well as your special needs child--are missing because a company you hired, paid, and trusted amazingly LOST an ENTIRE CRATE of boxes?
Its heartbreaking and frustrating and financially devastating! I remain ready and willing to resolve this matter, and they have ignored my pleas for fair reimbursement. Read the fine print, as this company subcontracts moves to other companies, which makes the dispute resolution process and tracking of lost boxes (even 100 boxes!) very difficult.
Moving is an incredibly stressful and costly process anyway, but this takes the cake. Please consider this in choosing your mover!
